The temps are finally rising, the snow is off the ground (sorry UPers) and we are healthier today then we were yesterday.  So tell me MI, what are you doing today?

I'm doing some house cleaning, taking out some trash and might do a little shopping, yea smaller sizes!

HI Paul,
How are you doing this fine sunny Saturday? It looks alot warmer than what it is :)
My plans for the day - I'm going to go to the Cottage Living show at DeVos Place. Then later out for supper and ****tails with friends. One of them came for a visit from Hot sunny Arizona.
I hope you have a super day.

Morning all, well it's actually afternoon now!

Managed to get my house all cleaned, ate some lunch which didn't sit well, then fell asleep in my chair for 1 1/2 hrs.....good grief, I didn't get up until 7:30 this morning, don't know why I was so sleepy.

Anyway just made up some cottage cheese salad and finished washing up the dishes. Will check out TV to see if anything good is on, otherwise will work on our book club selection "The Lacuna".....it's long and so far not too interesting - sure hope it gets better.

Bright sunshine down here but really cold outside. Have a great weekend.

Thanks for the replies.  It sure has been a sunny day, wish the temps matched the sunshine.

I ended up taking some misc. junk to a dumpster, took my father in law out to lunch, did some shopping at Costco and Wal-Mart.  Now just got back from getting a propane tank refill.  Going to try hamburgers on the grill tonight.  My last attempt with a hambuger patty did not go so well.  I think it was too dry and I did not add any ketchup or anything.  I'll just say it did not process well.  I'll give it another shot with something to help it go down easier.

Good to hear from Y'all.

burgers were one thing I couldn't eat until about 6 months postop, ground beef just didn't sit well on my stomach.  Thankfully I can eat them now, but I really really want one on a bun.  I noticed Meijer has Thin Buns..going to buy some today..toast one in the oven..and try that with my burger.  I really want to be able to pick up a burger and eat 'normally'..*sigh*..LOL

Went to my boys robotics matches yesterday.  Woke with a splitting headache at 6 am and took Tylenol and Benedryl and then got a 1/2 caf coffee on the way there.  Made sugar and flour free pumpkin gooey butter cake to take to euchre last night.  Played euchre till after midnight, ate too much.  There was so much good protein finger food kind of stuf***** up and went to church today, then went grocery shopping.  By the time I got back, I'm dizzy and have a headache.  Checked my bp and it is fine, so I'm wondering if I'm just dehydrated....  Was shaky at one point yesterday and drank three bottles of water while at euchre and felt better.  Don't know what's going on with me lately, I've been really tired, still stalled on the weight loss.  Trying to get my head straight, since it is tough when the scale isn't moving.

 Hi Paul

Even though you asked this question yesterday.... I'll respond with what I'm doing today instead. :-)

It's Monday so I'm working, of course. Got a few meetings togday and some paperwork to catch up on. Otherwise I'm hoping for a fairly calm day. After work I'll be getting a much-needed-overdue oil change for the car and then heading home for some much-needed-overdue housework. And somewhere in there I'll be working on the edits of my book that I've received from my reviewers.

One of my meetings today is a lunch meeting, so not sure what's on the menu for today. But I did bring a couple adorable Cutie Mandarin Oranges for a snack later. And since I haven't bought groceries yet, I have no idea what dinner will involve either (but I'll pick up some groceries while I'm getting the oil changed at Walmart later).

Have a good day all!
Pam

I don't care what day, month or year it is, to me any response is a good response.  Thanks for stopping in.

Hiya Paul ... I kinda miss our morning coffee chats here on the Michigan forum. I need to make a better effort of doing a drive-by every morning to check up on my Michigan peeps! :-)
