Second PS consult Done!!!

Had my consult with Dr. DiNick today!!!!!  Woooooo Hoooooooo!!!!!  I found my doctor!!!!  He was amazing, super nice and even showed me photos of his work.  The other place I didn't even get to meet the doctor and they didn't show me any samples of their work.

Dr. DiNick is going to submit to my insurance and try to get it covered, but if not we will be self-pay.  The amount is like 4 grand less than the other place too....  It will take 2 - 3 weeks to find out if insurance will cover it, but from their experience the insurance I have is really difficult to get it covered.  So I am already assuming I will be self-pay, and my mom said she will help us out, since she knows how badly I want this done.... We will make the monthly payments of the financing and then pay it off with out taxes next year.  

I am so excited I want to shout from the roof-tops!!!!  I can't wait to set my date and start moving forward!!!!

I logged on tonight hoping you would give an update!!!!  That is GREAT news!!!   I can't believe you didn't even meet the doctor at the other place!!!!  Can I ask, where was the other place????   I have heard good things about Dr. DiNick!

Congratulations!!!!! Sounds like you will be getting the surgery you want even if you end up self pay, it sounds like you have found someone you are very comfortable with to do the surgery!  That is nice of your mom to help you out!

I'll keep my fingers crossed that insurance will pay!

I know.. they said that I could schedule a visit with the doctor, but there would be a fee since the consult was free... OMG!!!!  I didn't even ask what it was....

The place I went to was Star Medical in Novi!!!!  Definitely not happy with them....  Very please with Dr. DiNick though and I will keep everyone posted on how the process is going...
