OH convention..anyone going?

Just curious if anyone else was thinking of going to one of the OH events this year?

Bellevue, WA July 15-16
New Orleans, LA Sept. 9-10
Long Island, NY Oct 21-22

I would love to go to one of them to meet up with others from OH and attend all the events.  I was just looking at flights from Grand Rapids MI to New Orleans..found one for only $92. Found one to NY for about $185 and to WA a few hundred. 

Anyone else thinking of attending?!

I love New Orleans! And what a steal on the flight. Where can I get more information on the events? I think I will consider this. Thanks for the heads up.

go up to the blue bar at the top of the page..click on COMMUNITY..then click on EVENTS.  They don't have the information on hotels up yet.  But it lists the places and dates.  I think the tickets last time were about $60 per person..but you could get a discounted price of $30 before, so maybe they'll do that again this year.  Many people last year found someone to share a hotel room with too, made it a *****eaper.

 I highly recommend attending the OH Conferences   to network and get information and make new friends. Just BEWARE of the time of year for the New Orleans one during Hurricaine season! Down here it is our fear like tornados  in Mich but much much worse. I would wait until closer to the time to make any reservations and get trip insurance just in case. If the weather is decent I want to go to New Orleans too. Friends tell me New Orleans has recovered from the hurricaine and most things will be within walking distance of the French Quarter. Hotel is  a distance from the airport but there is reasonable transportation per Main OH board.
