question about pre-op appointment

 I was wondering for the people that went to Hurley Bariactric with Dr. Farhan..........I live about 2-3 hours away and my pre-op appointment is Wednesday.  I am wondering if they will be able to reschedule that with the weather being bad.  We are predicted to get 12-18 inches here.  My surgery date is the 15th and I really don't want to have to post-pone it.  I start my pre-op diet tomorrow.  Anybody know what they do if the weather is bad and you can't get there??

I had my surgery at Hurley and I do know they only do those appointments on Wednesday's because you will be seeing Dr. Minacian who has his own practice.  So you better call them today and ask what you should do.  I think the whole state is going to get hit with the storm so I am sure you won't be the only one not able to make it.  But if you are scheduled for the15th, that only leaves you with next week to make it up if they do them on Wed's only!

If it was me, I'd call them and see if I could get on the schedule for next Wednesday!

 thanks for the advice.  I did call yesterday and they told me to wait until today to see if we were really going to get any snow.  She called me back first thing this morning and rescheduled it for me for the following Wednesday.

Glad to hear that!  Better to be safe!  I live in Chelsea but work in Midland a couple days a week and I drove home today too even though I'm surppoed to be working in the office tomorrow.  I didn't want to get stranded up there!  75 wasn't bad driving at all this afternoon.

Good luck with your surgery, I am doing mine on the same day in Lansing at Sparrow Hospital.  Excited but nervous.  I see my surgeon for the last time this coming Wednesday.  Prepping my last list of pre-op questions.  If you have any questions it would be good to see if I missed any.  I am most worried about my daily meds.
