Does anyone know of any WLS friendly PCP's in the Ann Arbor or Southfield area ? Someone who is well versed in labs and what we need on a daily basis ?

MY pcp is in the henry ford system. His office is at beck road  and M14
but my labs are sent to the sergeon in the bariatric med department and to my pcp so if there were a problem then someone would catch it.

If you have questions about labs I suggest you send a message to PamT. She is very knowledgabe about that and might be able to answer some of your questions!

There are two internal medicine doctors at U of M that are now also doing bariatric follow-ups.  I would think they are also seeing other patients since they are both internal medicine and you could have them as a PCP.  I was thinking if I continue to have low iron counts, I'm going to go see one of them.  The first is a woman, the second is a man.  The links include the phone numbers.
