Coffee question

Hi all,
I have a question for all you coffee drinkers.
I love coffee.    About 2 months before my RNY and till now, I have been drinking just regular decaff coffee.  My niece got one of those one cup coffee makers that you can buy all those neat little cups (flavored) and make yummy coffees and teas.  My question is can we drink regular coffee now at 10 months out?   And if any of you use those one cup coffee machines, what do you buy that doesn't have the sugar in the flavoring?  I'm curious as I would LOVE to buy one of those machines, but I just don't know what coffees I can use and drink.

Any yummy coffee ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I'm addicted to coffee!!  LOL

Take care,
God Bless,
Tari

I have a Keurig machine and we love it.  I drink decaf with it.  Green Mountain - Vermont Country blend, breakfast blend and they also have a vanilla.  I also have Donut House decaf and Donut Shoppe Decaf and Timothy's Columbian and Timothy's Espresso blend - all decaf.  My hubbie likes bold blends and has a bunch of different ones.  I find I like the medium blends better because I make the 12 oz cup of coffee - my machine has 4 sizes.  The flavored coffees don't have sugar in them, they are just flavored coffee beans ground up.   I drink caffeine only when I have a headache and some people say you need to drink more liquids to offset the caffeine since it is a diuretic.    I think Cuisinart also has a machine out that takes the K-cups too.

My DH just bought me a Cuisinart (sp) one cup coffe maker.  It is just like the Keurig machine.  I LOVE it!!!!  I don't drink decaf, I drink regular.coffee.  I like the bolder coffees.  I got a smple box of 12 cups with my machine.  I also got a little filter thinkgy with it that you can just use regular coffee and not use the one cup things.

I flavor my coffee with splenda and Coffee Mate Sugar Free creamer.  They have the SF kind in Hazelnut, Vanilla Carmila and French vanilla.  I have also bought Sugar Free liquid flavorings from Starbucks (Cinnamon Dulce).

You will love your machine if you end up buying one!!

I personally never gave up caffeine, but I used to only drin****d tea.  Ironically I didn't start drinking coffee until 1.5 years ago and I only drink full caffeinated coffee.   We have a Keurig at work and my friend and sister give me all their fav's to try.  The Chai latte is awesome, it has a bit of sugar but not enough to make me dump.  I also like the foo foo ones, the Dunkin Donuts,  Van Houtte Macadamia Nut and Timothy's Cinnamon pastry.  YUMMY :)

I always loved mochas, and all those other high calorie coffees.  My replacement now is instead of using creamers and sugar, I use a packet of sugar free hot cocoa in my coffe.

I have a Keurig machine and use both the flavored and unflavored coffees. The flavored coffees in the K-cups do not have sugar in them; the Via instant coffees from Starbucks that are flavored do have sugar in them, however. There is a distinction. Flavored coffees that are bean-based do not have sugar in them.

I like the cinnamon pastry flavor and the Gloria Jean Mudslide. I use the cinnamon pastry one with my protein in the morning. Yummy. I also like the bolder ones for the "large" size cups (I have an older Keurig that has just small and large size servings). I've tried several different flavors.

I went caffeine free for almost two years before having regular coffee again. So now it's been four years on caffeine.

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for responding to me about this coffee question.  I still haven't broken down yet and bought one, but I'm leaning more in to doing it!!  :)   I love coffee.  Now that I know I can have regular coffee (just have to drink more water those days) I am just about ready to go purchase one!!  LOL

God Bless you all,
Tari
