I'm having trouble getting back on track.  I over indulged the past week, and it's difficult to get back on track.  I logged my breakfast and weight in already, took my meds and supplements...so that is a positive start to the day.
Struggle, struggle, struggle.....such seems to be my lot in life  .
I guess it helps me to apprecite the easier days more, when I have them.

I'd appreciate prayers, Thanks!

 Hi Lori,

My downfall is carbs.  I heard that when you eat them, it makes you crave more carbs.  so its best to jump right back on the protein wagon asap.  i know easier said than done.  i am 3 yrs post op and it gets harder to stay on track when some of the early preventions were in tact.  i can eat sugar and fat now with no problem and my pouch is stretched a bit.  in my opinion though, if you seem to be more hungry since your holiday, try just consuming more protein, extra, in order to keep you full.  then maybe you wont think so much about the other stuff.  here is a list of stuff i fill up on between meals when i tend to want to eat the other stuff that's not so good for us:

soy crisps [have a potato chip feeling]
beef jerky
string cheese
yogurt
tuna with Italian dressing added you can eat with soy chips too
edemame lightly salted from frozen

good luck to ya!

Thoughts become things... choose the good ones!

I can offer you a prayer, but not a kick, since my stomach is so darned fat this past month I can't get my leg up high enough to kick anyone.

Gotta get myself under control....
