Good Morning Lindsay and the rest of the Michiganders
I have an ear infection and respiratory infection. so I haven't been sleeping as well as I would like.
Got a z pack of antibiotics yesterday from the doc. Yahoo!
I love to bake, I teach cake decorating, so I bake at least one cake a week to demo on. I usually leave it at the store I teach at for the other employees. Which works out well. I just did a wedding cake, for a wedding last Friday. It turned out very pretty. I love the brides taste (style) Navy and mauve.
have you tried to convert some of your baking recipes to sugar free using splenda, truvia or some other sugar substitute. You can find conversion charts for sugar to substitute on most of their websites. Also sparkpeople recipes (try the link after you read this) has a recipe converter that you could use to reduce the calories and fat and boost your protein or just get the nutritionalal value of your recipe. It can be a big help.
Have a wonderful tuesday!

I didn't bother with doing sugar-free desserts this year. I find that calling it "sugar-free" is just an excuse to eat more of them and I seem to convince myself that sugar-free means calorie-free. Wrong! So instead I just bake normal stuff and only eat one or two and give the rest away. Moderation is the key for me!

Hi Lindsay
At 12:30 a.m. I was still up wrapping presents and doing laundry. Finally got to bed around 1:30 and my alarm woke me up around 6. UGH!
So I crawled out of bed, hit the shower, got ready for work and made a cup of protein hot cocoa to drink on the drive in. Then stopped for coffee just before hitting the office. I forgot my box of vitamins this morning so I'm digging into my desk stash to compensate for my forgetfullness. Which means stale chewable multi-vitamins and BA calcium logenzes that have lost their cinnamon flavor. Yum yum!
Today is the staff Christmas luncheon and the boss is taking us to a nice restaurant. Then back this afternoon to try and catch up on a bit of work on my task list.
Tonight is more wrapping and maybe even a bit of housework to uncover the house that I know is under all that crap scattered everywhere. My evil twin has been on a rampage lately and my house is in disarray (I know it's the evil twin, cuz I'm certainly not that messy!).
Have a good day!
