Anyone use GHP for plastics?
I know that I should post my plastics ?s on the plastics forum, but I want a more local approach :o )
I had a sleeve done by dr. Foote 2 years ago. I'm down about 150lbs, and I'm really ready for the panni. I would like an abdominoplasty, but I am having Foote do it because he is already going to be fixing a hernia, and it is likely that the insurance will cover the panni at the same time. Because Foote is doing it, it's gonna be a panni. I'm nervous that it's not going to turn out well, I'm not sure why, I REALLY trust him, but I would like to hear if there is anyone else out there that had Foote do a panni on them.
Thanks!!

I used Dr. Livingston in their office. My results are great. Not to scare you or change your mind but here is some information I got from Todd the PA there when I went in for my 2 year post-op. It was about 8 months from the time I had my Lower body lift by Dr. Livingston. Todd was very curious on my results and incision b/c he said they do it at times and when they do it you could definately see where the cuts ended on the hips. He said the peoples body shapes looked more like footballs w/ the points on either side. So needless to say even though it didn't have anything to do w/ my RNY & follow up w/ Todd he did look at my incisions from my PS. When we left he saw Dr. Livingston's nurse & receptionist and made a comment that the results were faboulous. Just so you know they are not Plastic Surgeons so the results won't be the same as if you went to one.
Can you check to see if he can do the hernia surgery and then have Dr. Livingston do the panni removal or see what the charge would be to do a full tummy tuck? Just a thought. I'm assuming insurance would cover the panni portion and most of the OR charge b/c of the hernia repair. When I went to Dr. Livingston last year the quote for my arms and regular tummy tuck was about 6k. Not sure if that's doable for you but the results are well worth it.
