Plastic surgery Dr's...Medicare
OMG you look great!!! The last pic I remember of you, you were standing near a bus, HOLY MOLY what a change!!!
As far as plastics w/ Medicare (or any ins.), good luck, you'd have to show rashes and for the TT rashes and a hernia. That's the best way to get that covered, but I don't think you'd want a hernia, nor can you fake one :).
Keep up the good work!

Low back pain is another problem you can have from the excess skin around your abdomin. Make sure you mention the rashes and back pain to your primary care physician so it can be documented. You will need to this to have the abdominalplasty. Boob lift and leg skin - from what I know, you are on your own.
Hey Bev, this is not a commercial, but we just had Dr. DiNick from Novi, MI speak at our bariatric support group.
He is awesome!!! He said Medicare would pay for a tummy tuck but that's it. I am hoping to have a consult with him in the spring.
I was very impressed with him - you can find his info at the top of the message board under plastic surgeons.
Great job, girl -- you look terrific. GHP has a fantastic group of docs.

Done! Your Ticker:
I had my RNY when I was 55 and hit my lowest weight exactly 18 months out. But what surprized me was that my old flab shrunk up considerably on its own (not much exercise, I mean) for the next year.
The deflated tube socks lost about two inches of sag and the panni came up a bit as well. So, your body is likely to snug up a bit as well, just sayin'..
I don't qualify for plastics, but they would certainly improve the scenery.
