New to Saginaw Area...Looking for PCP that supports Lap Band?
Hello!
We have recently moved into the Saginaw Area (St. Charles) and we are looking for a PCP for my husband to go to, as his has retired. We however, are looking for one that supports the Lap-Band Procedure. Does anyone know of a PCP here, that we may check into that would "back" his thoughts of having the procedure?
Thanks for the advice!

Hi Heather!
I live in Saginaw, but my PCP is in Bay City. He's worth the drive! Last time I met with him he said he has 13 other WLS patients. I've known him personally for years (he attends my parent's church with his wife and children) and he's a really nice guy. He has a strong interest in diabetes patients and metabolic syndrome and is eager to learn as much as he can about treating bariatric patients. Everytime I see him, I take him some new medical journal report or WLS article I've found. And I know he reads the stuff I give him because I saw the file folder he keeps that stuff in once -- everything was dog-eared and highlighted and well read. So anyway, yeah, he's a great doc!
He's in the Allen Medical Building in Bay City. Here's his info:

Also.... if you're not aware already. I lead the support group in Bay City. We meet the second Tuesday of the month and we've got members representing all four of the surgery types and in all different stages of pre-op and post-op life. If you'd like to be added to my email distribution list for meeting announcements, just PM me your email address and I'll get you added.
