Good Morning Michiganders and all who lurk.
got up early to take Diesel doodle to the vet. He had to get his ear checked. His infection is all healed now and he will be on preventative medication so he don't get another one. so after we had to take him for Micky D's for his treat. LOL just like a kid. I can tell he is feeling better now cause he is being bossy to the cat.
Power aid zero here, with the meat and egg from an egg mcmuffin.  Diesel got the muffin. LOL

QOTD: I think I like the crispness of the weather. Not too hot and humid but not too cold either! Something about that kind of air that just make me feel good.  I also like the change from summer type foods to the traditional fall stuff. Chili, soups, those things that make you feel warm all over.  And my old faithful sweater that I ware while walking and  hearing the crunch of leaves under my feet.

Red Letter Day!

I can't believe my surgeversary will be here soon 10/29/09. It is funny to think of how nervous I was this time last year. And now how happy I am and how much healthier I feel. thanks my friends for being my support through this!

Deb what does the area around grape farms smell like?

Have a great day all,

Good morning!  No protein coffee for me this morning - had my labs drawn, but I do have a triple protein shake waiting in the fridge for me.

QOTD:  I too love the smell of burning leaves.  I absolutely positively LOVE days like today, where its nice and sunny, cooler with the gorgeous leaves.  We're going to have a very good year for the leaves this year.

Good morning.....still...for a little bit.  Had my coffee this AM.  Had a blueberry waffle for breakfast....no syrup or anything.  Dub and I eat em plain.    I just had a ham sandwich.  I haven't been into breakfast for a while.  Eggs are gross, for the most part, so I nibble what Dub eats and then have something later.

QOTD:  I only like fall until all the leaves fall off the tress.  I hate that it's colder and that winter is ON ITS WAY!!!  So, I've been busy finding stuff for Dub and I to do!  I need some friends that live near me, don't work and have young kids so I have someone to do something with!!  But I did find some Tot time at the rec center in Ann Arbor. Story times at Borders.  Tiny Tots at the Leslie Science Center.  And we take Music Together classes on Tuesdays, here in Chelsea.  So, I can get Dub out there playing with others.  It'll be fun and it'll keep us busy this winter.

Good morning everyone.

I have a sore throat and a little cold going on so I have been sipping on warm coffee this morning and it feels good on my throat.  Added some SF hazelnut creamer and splenda.

QOTD:  I love the fall colors and the smell of burning leaves.  Before surgery I liked going to the cider mills and getting the warm cinnamon/sugar donutes and cidar.  Love those donuts warm...yummy!   I also love fall for the football games.  Love going to the Friday night high school games and watching the college games on Saturday's.  Looking forward to tomorrow's Michigan State vs Michigan game!

Have a great day everyone!

Yes Jan it is!!  My typo.  We are going to the Chelsea / Dexter game tonight which is a big rivalry.  I meant the Mich State / Mich game on Saturday.  We are making a bunch of food and watching the game.  Hey, Steve mentioned he would love to make stuffed cabbage but has never been able to make it or find a good recipe.  I immediately thought of you because didn't you say you made a bunch that one time and froze it???  Do you have a good recipe??
