Good Morning,

What's in your mug today? I started out with protein hot chocolate with sf raspberry syrup.

Work has been so crazy I need to get up 30 minutes early just to have a little quiet time before the craziness starts . . everyone getting ready for winter and they don't take the time to call Miss Dig . . so many people don't understand that gas lines are plastic and above the frost line . . very easy to cut with a shovel and very costly to the person who cut through the line . . well enough venting . . am very blessed to be employed.

I am spending the night in Sebewaing with Hanna while Kevin goes off to training in Grand Rapids for the day.  Jessica is loving Grad School at the U of M and I am loving this being alone . . . however I do miss the dogs but I will get use to it.

QOTD- Do you do any home improvements in the fall?  It seems I get the itch to paint in the fall, don't know if that is because I know I will be closed up in the house for the winter and I want it all nice and clean.

Enjoy the day . .  thanks for hearing all my ramblings today!

Hey Kristy,
It's been quite a while since I've been on here.  It just seems like I'm spending more and more time on FB and not here.  I'm maintaining my wl and enjoying every minute of this new life.
I started the day with decaf coffee and a piece of chicken.  I'm heading out this afternoon into the woods to get some myrtle to transplant to our lakeshore to help against erosion.  I've just been so so busy these days, because I have the energy to do so.
QOTD:  We bought a new (old) lake house right across the street from us.  We've torn out the bathroom down to the studs.  It's a tiny bathroom, so I don't have too much decorating to do in there.  Once the shower is in we'll finish the drywalling and then I'll paint, bright yellow.  We had to remove the window to make room for the shower surround so I want to keep it bright in there with the paint.
I just found out yesterday that my BIL is going to have the surgery.  I've tried to talk him into it for the past two years.  He'll be so happy!
I looked out here to see if Nick from Orion still posts but haven't seen anything.  Alan lives close to Nick and I thought I'd try to get them to hook up to talk.

Good Morning Kristy, Jan and all who follow

Must be what happens when we get that energy. I have been here and there doing a lot of catch up stuff this summer. Man it is superising how much and far behind things get when your too fat to contend with them.
Chocolate protein coffee and a protein bar for b-fest today. Baby it's Cold outside!

QOTD: I have been getting the bug to tear out my kitchen and redo it so I have more places to stuff all my cook books. And I would like to re do the basement into a kitchenette and family area.
So that way I can do all my baking and cake decorating down there!

Teaching classes today and again on saturday!
Check me out on FB. www.facebook.com/home.php just send me a message that states your from my OH.MI.friends

Morning all,

Jan, nice to see you on here again!  Sounds like retirement is going great for you guys.  Hope everything goes well for your BIL.

I had dinner last night with my 'cancer buddies', we were all dx'd with breast cancer 6 years ago and met at a support groups at Gilda's Club.  They are such awesome women, I wish we could get together more often, but we're all so busy it's hard.  But we had a great time last night!

Q:  I'm like a squirrel running around trying to get things done, so I can be a slug in the winter :).  That's one of the great things about Michigan compared to Phoenix.  It was always nice in Phx. and I'd feel like I was being lazy if I took a day off (it was actually one of the things I sold my hubby on in favor of moving here :) ).

Have a great day all,

Edie
