Primary Doctor in Kalamazoo

Does anyone know of a primary doc in Kalamazoo, MI that will do a referral for a surgeon in Bariatics? My brother's doc will not do a referral for him.  Thank you for any help.

I have a family doctor, she is actually a nurse practitioner through Bronson Family Practice located on Centre St. in Portage.

Also, I am not sure where he is planning on doing the surgery at but I am going to GR and seeing Grand Health Partners and you do not need a referral to get the process started. At least I didnt.

I go to ProMed in Kalamazoo/Portage/Richland, all of the doctors there are pro-bariatric surgery if medically necessary.
My surgeon was Dr. Verseman, he does surgery at Both Borgess and Bronson,  His practice is through Healthcare Midwest, they have an office in Bronson with General Practice physicians, also.

Internist Dr. Stephan Dallas on 9th Street in Oshtemo.
He is excellent and if your brother wants a great doctor for follow up and knows a lot about bariatric surgery I recommend Dr. Dallas hands down.
