Bay City Support Group -- TONIGHT
Oops! I forgot to post this earlier in the week... so if you're looking for the details on tonight's meeting, here you go:
MEETING:
Our next meeting is Tuesday, September 14th at 6:30 p.m.
We'll meet at 1010 Boutell Place, Bay City
The building is on the corner of Third Street and Madison Avenue, but on the far side of the building along the tiny side street called Boutell Place. It is in the same building as Gypsy's Coffee Shop and Jack's Delicatessen and across the street from the Police Station. We have our own entrance on the side of the building with an awning that says "Touchstone Services, Inc."
PROTEIN TASTE TESTING:
As discussed at our last meeting, we're going a Protein Taste Testing. Please plan to bring your favorite protein-based snack to share with the group. It can be anything you want -- a protein bar, salty snack, dessert, savory dish, anything. This is not exactly a potluck dinner type thing, but more of a taste testing of various things we've discovered and want to share with each other. If you don't have anything special to share, that's fine too. If you cook something that's got a recipe, please bring recipe cards to share with everyone.
HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT:
I'd like to start a new project for the group. I'll explain it more at the meeting, but here's what I need from EVERYONE, please.
*** Before Photo -- 4x6 print that I can keep or an electronic photo you can email to me
*** Current Photo -- same as above
*** Think about a short paragraph that sums up your journey or where you are with your progress so far.
*** If you don't have a photo, I'm willing to scan photos for you, but I'll need to take it with me when you bring it to the meeting.
My Recipe Index is packed full of yumminess!
