Approved, date set, ..am I missing something?

Surgery set with Dr. Schram in Ypsilanti for Oct. 26.

Pre Surgical Testing Oct. 12

My paperwork is a letter telling me NPO 8 hours before testing.

Am I supposed to be preparing for this dietarily?  Liquid diet?  

Has anyone else had Dr. Schram?  What did you need to do before surgery?  How about after?

I will call the office sometime this coming week, but until then I'm hoping some forum members can fill me in.

If you go to the Barix Clinic website it has some paperwork you can download.  I talked with Dr. Poplawski at the Ypsi Barix Clinic and he said no pre-op special diet but they would like you to lose some weight prior to surgery to reduce the size of the liver.

He even teachs other doctors how to complete these operation
