Well here we are again . . and it's Thursday . . where oh where is Deb??
I miss our morning chats so I am going to keep posting until you get back to lead your
mornings.

SO  . . what's in your cup this morning?  I had protein hot chocolate this morning with a splash of sf coconut . . oh almond joy . .

QOTD - Are you a creature of habit? .  with food? your exercise?
I find that I have a tendency to eat the same things over and over again . . until I get sick and then move on to something else.  Right now it is ground turkey, onion, stewed tomatoes and cheese under the broiler . .

Enjoy your day!

Morning Kristy and all,

That hot chocolate sounds yummy!  I'm going to have to try it.  This AM I switched it  up a bit and had PB and banana on Arnold thins.  I usually save such extravagants for the weekend :), weekday AM's it's my shakes and vit's on the way to work.  That leads me to the Q:

We are such creatures of habit, Kroger knows what we're going to buy before we do :).   Since we don't have kids, we pretty much do our own thing.  He likes sandwiches, I like salads and we both love fruit and yogurt.  We eat at the same time, we just usually make our own thing.  Strange I know, but it works for us.

Enjoy the sun today.

Morning Kristy and Edie + anybody who follow

got up early am 550 no reason just sleepless. had Travers City cherry coffee (flavored coffees ground from specialty store) and been busy as usual. pressure washed the porch and did the Thomson's wood weather treatment. picked up the big branches from the yard and the windy day that just passed. Then took the dogs out. Had a computer crash and had to do some saving of the system thank god for my backup hard drive. lol

QOTD - Are you a creature of habit? .  with food? your exercise?
Funny you should ask that question. I have tons and I mean tons of cook books. big one hard covered one, and of yes those great little check out counter books. Just last week I decided to try to cook one of those recipes from those books a day. So last week I started with the slow cooker book. I took 5 recipes. and went to the store  bought all the stuff and each day I prepared one of em.  today I chose 5 more and will do the same. It is really neat don't have to thing about whats for dinner. And it changes up the plan a bit. I do have to make some changes to keep it WLS and low fat but it has been cool so far. Now I have about 500 more books to go after this one and then there are those old recipe boxes that are full of those little packs of cards from the recipe club.
Hmn???????????? Habit or compulsion??????? I wonder************

Haven't had my protein drink yet - need to do that.

QOTD:  My only habit (bad) is to NOT plan.  I can typically plan my meals if I'm working but dinner I never know - then root through the fridge and cupboards to try and find something to eat.  Ok - pretty good habit with my vitamins, but I think that's more of a routine thing.  Get out of routine, and I'll remember them eventually.

Hiya!

Checking in during my afternoon coffee break (GFIC chai tea latte in the mug). Been a busy day and I'm ready to go home but still have a couple hours ...

QOTD -- yeah, pretty much. My mornings are pretty much the same everyday. Crawl out of bed at the last minute, scramble to get out the door on time with a protein shake, then grab a coffee on the drive to work and have yogurt for breakfast at 10am. Always have to open my computer programs in the same order in the morning too -- so the icons are all in the right order across the bottom toolbar. Which of course means that I also need to do my daily rounds on to the same websites in the moring -- email, OH, iGoogle (whi*****ludes checking Woot! and the weather).  Then work email, etc.   So yeah, lots of habit routine stuff going on. :0)

Ha! too funny!

Yes, I had a date the other day and it was nice. We'd been out a few times before that though. He's off to a couple back-to-back conferences, so he's gone for a couple weeks. Which is fine because it gives me time to do some serious writing on my book and hit my deadline for completion.
