Need help... friend of mine who lives in Jackson saw a commercial about a new clinic in Mi that deals with 2nd phase gastric bypass patients...
... he can't remember name/phone #, but says that the commercial shows 2female doctors taking about it in an office setting... if anyone sees the commercial PLEASE write down the info?!?...
Thanks for any help in advance...

Hey MichiganGal... don't worth its not a new procedure... my doc wants me to have my sleeve turned into a Duodenal Switch... but I have no insurance seems how BCBS of Mi no longer covers anything bariatric... so I'm waiting until March to hopefully get insurance... Aetna can't cover me until 3 yrs past my first gastric surgery due to its "pre-existing" condition...
Hi there! I have BCBS of MI and mine is covering my bariatric surgery 100%, is it that you are having a 2nd stage that's giving you difficulty with the ins? I'm very curious of this! Also, could it be that we have different plans then?
If you really knew me, you'd see my heart is honest and pure, your painful words will push me forward on my journey and NOT knock me down! I will succeed this time, for I have the support of a 50 story building, and the love to last a thousand lifetimes! It's time for me to LOVE ME!
Oh I got a little excited ... lol
Let me re-phrase this... BCBS Individual plans do not cover bariatric ANYTHING...
I'm having issues of 1: not being accepted due to pre-existing and 2: Aetna just called me yesterday that it's all subject to "underwiters" approval even if they would accept my application because they still may see it as a "once in lifetime" surgery, eventhough they are not the ones who paid for it the first time...Grrrrrrr....
Sounds like my plot to win lotto or rob a bank to self-pay might be re-instated... lol. Jk... no need to call authorities... hahahaha
P.S....my work insurance is about as basic as covering band-aids and cottonballs...
