Hi Tina - yes I went a couple months back to the Wellness Center and took a tour. Wow, it is a nice place! I think I would really like going there but like you say, it's kind of expensive. But I loved all of the classes they offered! I have two free passes to go so I am going to use those and then see about joining.

Evening All,
My folks have been staying with me for the last week. So far it has gone pretty good.
I went to the Toby Keith/Trace Adkins concert also. I went because I love Trace. I did not think Trace was as good as the last time I seen him 2 years ago. I have never been Toby fan, not that I disliked him. I thought his show was great. I think I may be a fan now. It took me until 4 this afternoon to get my hearing back to normal.
QOTD: No I do not have a special thing that I do everyday. I would like to. I think it is a healthy thing to do.
I am sad as well summer is ending. I hate snow. I don't mind the cold so much, it's just that snow. It's pretty as it comes down but it is so messy. Once it hits the roads it is ugly brown. I love Indian summer. I hope we have a good one this year.

Trace is a sexy one isn't he :). Together they are like the big boys/****kickers' concert. It definately is a fun one.
Last night I went to see Aerosmith at the Palace, you want to talk about not being able to hear, holy cow, my ears felt like they were under water when I walked out of the Palace last night :).

Congrats on your surgery Allison and good luck Pam with your date on Saturday. How exciting!
My husband's best friend came up to visit last weekend so we just kind of all "hung out" together. It was handy having him around because we had to go pick up the hand-made cedar-strip canoe we won in a raffle on Thursday (photos in my profile). I also had my first relaxing weekend in a long time because my watercolor is FINALLY DONE!! I'd finished it Thursday and today I was able to take it in to be framed. YAY! I've also posted a photo of it in my profile. If anyone comes to ArtPrize later this month be sure to stop by Peaches Bed and Breakfast to see it.......and give my piece a vote (#39441)
Monday was the beginning of my semester and it's been a rough week. I wound up changing nearly all of my schedule so that I can get my Painting minor after all (last year I decided not to pursue it, but now I'm going to go ahead and do it) so there was a LOT of running around. I was also signed in to an Advanced Figure Painting class that I don't have ANY of the prerequisites for (I didn't take Beginning or Intermediate Figure Painting) so I've been panicking about that class. However, after painting in there today I feel more comfortable. Four studio classes this semester is gonna be ROUGH.....especially since one of them is my portfolio class!
My thing for "me" is to lie in bed for a few extra minutes in the morning to think about my "plan of attack" for the day. I also like to spend a few extra minutes with the ponies every night when I feed. Even when I'm really busy just a few minutes of hanging out with them makes life relaxing.
