Went Shopping

Now that summer is closing out ( I hate to say that) I decided it was time to update my wardrobe for fall and winter.  I have shopped at Goodwill and Salvation Army the entire past year.  I enjoyed shopping there but wanted to treat myself to new things.  I did not reward myself to much along the wls way.  I do not indulge my whims to often so this was a real treat for me.   I wondered around the store by myself ( I prefer shopping that way) looking at this and that slowly putting in items.  I put in large and medium shirts.  Most of them I bought were mediums.  That was such an odd feeling.  I do not ever remember being a medium.  I found a few pairs of pants.  They were a size 12.  They had a zipper and buttons but they also had elastic in part of the waist.  That was nice because it helped hide the jelly belly and did not give me a muffin top.  I did not find any jeans that I liked but I guess that will have to wait for another day.  I have to say I enjoyed shopping today very much. I usually am not a shopper.  I have always been a get in get it and get out kind of girl,no matter who it was for.

Although it was very strange buying the smaller sized clothes I think it was very therapeutic for me.  It helped me realize my true body size.  I am so grateful for having had wls and all the support I have gotten from my family, friends and OH peeps.

Just thought I would share my day with you.

Woo hoo Cheryl!  I have also been shopping at Salvation Army and such.  I'm afraid I won't be able to pay full price for anything again!

Now we need to check out those tranny shoes!

I know I catch myself looking at clothes more than I used to.  That also is a new experience.  To me before I had wls all clothes looked like clown clothes.  Not size wise but color wise.  It was like because we were big we had no taiste.  Now things are more pretty.

Sandi, it was hard to pay more for the clothes but everything I bought was on sale and I had a 15% off coupon to boot so I timed it right.  I still would not pay full price for anything but I am a good bargin shopper.  I like your new Avitor.

The tranny shoes will have to wait for another pay check but then it is field trip time.

Love both avis Cheryl and Sandi.

I still shop at the good will. but that is a treat for me because I was so big b4 wls I could never find anything to fit my big butt. LOL but now I go and find bags full. and I get to change my wardrobe often. I am planning to purchase a pair of stilettos this is new because I have not put on even a pair of pumps for a long time. but I figure if I ware them a little each day I will learn to walk in a pr before you know it. LOL.

Watch out Sexy mazilla coming out!
