Consultation

Hi Everyone,

I had my consultation yesterday with Dr. Gluck. He approved me to have the RNY. I have to go for lab work, have a Upper GI and Stress test done. I still need to have insurance approval yet. I have Medicare and Medicaid. I talked with Medicare myself and they said they approve the surgery, but I guess that Dr. Gluck's office needs the information from Medicare.


I was wondering has anyone kept a journal about their weight loss experience? I am thinking about keeping one.

Hi Mary!

I'm waiting on insurance too.  I had my consultation with Dr. Schram in Holland about a month ago.

I only just started my blog on this website yesterday.  I think www.fitday.com is a great tool too, I've used it in the past when I was on Atkins.

Hi Michelle,

I go to my first nurtition class on September 2, and once my labs, Upper GI and stress test are back, the results and my my meeting with the the nurtitionist are then sent to Dr. Gluck for final approval for surgery. Dr. Gluck is sheduling surgeries three months after his second approval for surgery. I hope and pray that my labs and other test are alright so I can have surgery. I want to have the surgery so bad. I pray every day that the Lord would let every thing come out right so I may have the surgery.
