3rd Surgiversary
Three years ago today, I was having RNY in Gr. Rapids Blodgett Hospital with Dr. Kemmeter.
My journey has been good - I'm no longer on meds for diabetes or high blood pressure -- I went from 11 meds to just 4. Yes, I've had some regain, but for the most part I am a pretty healthy 71 yr. old lady. I would like to lose that last 50 lbs. and am considering revision surgery.
I would do this again in a heartbeat. Thanks Dr. K. for your surgery expertise and your friendship.
I am taking a trip to Germany in three weeks - that never would have been possible without WLS.
