I drinking the usual this am. Some vanilla pp and Folgers decaf.
had a wonderful time at the zoo yesterday day with Sandi C and Cheryl. Their children and grand children were such good kid. Got some great photos of the monkeys and gorilla. And a close up of a G-raft too. Thanks to Cheryl. Needless to say we walked are arses off. So much fun.

answer: small successes, like painting the garage, riding my bike, walking the zoo, getting new cloths for summer, all the small stuff.

Friday! Friday! Friday! So glad it's Friday! I've got lots of fun and games planned for the weekend (kayaking) so hopefully the weather cooperates.
QOTD -- I'm sure the highlight of my summer is going to be the OH Conference next weekend. But up until then I'd say it was my week of camping. It was peaceful and revitalizing. Nice to just be disconnected from the world and have some quiet time to myself. (whereas the OH Conference will be anything but peaceful and definitely not quiet!)

Finished my protein shake and vit's a while back and on to Iced tea.
Q: We've got allot of summer to go! But so far.....We had a ball at our 4th of July party, went to allot of concerts, and I'm having my first staycation in 2 weeks! YEA!!! My puppies will be having surgery that week, so I'll stay home with them, make sure they heal properly w/o killing each other....they play HARD!

I know its late but better late than never, right? I started my morning off with a s/f vanilla latte. And for lunch I had one slice of pizza. I know, carb no-no. but its not the 6 slices I would've had before my surgery.
qotd: I really enjoyed having my new friends over for swimming this summer. Just sitting back relaxing and chatting. Us grown ups don't really get to do that too often.
