Muggy Thursday
Wow what a summer! . . .
I started my day with a protein sf raspberry protein coffee . . yum!
Gosh my son is looking at houses to rent already, he says his plan is to try to be moved by October before the weather gets bad. . . I won't know what to do with my house all to myself.
I have been a slacker on my walking so I have a good couple of days behind me and it is starting to feel good.
QOTD - How are you handling the heat? love it or hate it?
I LOVE IT! . . . I hope this warm weather holds on until late October or longer. I don't have a pool but have been known to sit in the kiddie pool on occasion.
Enjoy the day!

Well, I have A/C in my condo and waited until the very last minute to turn it on. I sit in it all day and enjoy the heat when I get out, but its the humidity that does me in. My son works all day outside and he's hot and exhausted when he gets home, and he definitely appreciates the A/C.. So - for now we'll keep it on. First day under 80 and its off!
I'd LOVE it if it stayed until Oct too!
I am working this afternoon and may hit the beach for awhile today. I need to bolster my tan - going to a wedding this weekend and my legs could use a little more color and I'm NOT wearing hose!
Hope everyone has a great Thurs!

QOTD: Um....I LOVE IT!!!! Heat, humidity...I'll take it all. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate my A/C, though. We have the pool and the boat to play in when it's hot. I wi**** would last until October, too (or later). I could do summer for a few extra months.

I had a protein chai tea this morning (used up the last of my batch, need to make more soon!)... then a couple mugs of coffee and a yogurt. I'm on track with my vitamins and water for the day too.
I'm SO excited you guys! I designed the cover for my book and it's so adorable! I'm getting postcards printed to hand out to folks at the Cinci conference and at support groups. I'm getting close to publishing! Guessing a release days in late October or early November. As soon as I get the postcards from the printer I'll post photos on the blog.
QOTD -- My rule is that I don't complain about the weather in the summer because I use up all my complaining points in the winter. I'll take whatever summer dishes out for me! My house was muggy last night when I got home so I switched on the air and got some housework done.
Have a good day all!

My goal was to fini**** by the end of August, but it's going to be a bit longer than that. I'm about 90% of the way done with my first draft -- then will do a couple rounds of edits and have a couple folks review it before I do the whole self-publishing thing. It'll be available for sale on Amazon (both printed hard copy and electronically on the Kindle).

Your right Kristi it has been a summer...personally I wi**** would cool off a bit. It's to hot to go out for a walk and I hate that. I'm closed in all winter I don't like to be closed in all summer too! Yes I'm whining :). If it would go down to 80 during the day and cool off at night so I could convince my heat challenged hubby that the windows opened at night was a good thing, I'd be a happy girl :).
Have a great day all,

Had my 2 week post-op appointment and it went well. Found out a little more about my sleeve size. In my nutritionist portion of my visit I found out that Dr. Foote generally uses a 34 French on his sleeves but what I didn't know is that he's known for making a tight sleeve so as to lessen how much stretch will be there later. In my surgeon portion of my appointment Dr. Foote said that because my stomach was a little thinner he was able to make sure I had a nice tight sleeve. Now I can see why I'm having trouble getting all my water in......there just isn't room for it! In the long-run however I think I'll be glad for it.
Then, I got to go grocery shopping for my mushies food. I really HATE grocery shopping, but you know.....I enjoyed myself! While I was out I even bought myself a silver necklace that I've been eyeing for some time now as a "you go girl" gift to myself!
Today has been a good day.....a VERY good day.
Now, to ruin it all I need to go work on my watercolor.......my life will be a lot more enjoyable when that thing is done. A LOT more enjoyable.
