Good Morning Michigander and any one else who pops in!

Black rasberry coffee with vanilla protein coffee. I have been pretty busy lately, but that don't seem to make me sleep any more. Seems like I fall to sleep ok but then at 430 am I am awake and not falling back to sleep. So that leads me to the question of the day?

QOTD: Have noticed if your sleeping patterns have change any since weight loss surgery?
If so how?

I thought that I read once a while back that it had to do with the need for protein. Has anyone read such an article?

Have a wonderful day!

This morning is a chocolate shake (only 2 weeks out from surgery and still restricted to certain liquids).

I've noticed that I'm not sleeping nearly as much.  Getting to bed before 11pm is pretty much impossible as it takes me until 10pm to get all my "meals" in and I find I need another hour for everything to settle before going to bed.  Normally getting to bed this late would mean that getting up in the morning would be tough but it's not.  I've been getting up when my husband's alarm goes off at 5:30 or 6am and haven't been tired at all.

For me, the first 6-8 months post op I felt so darn healthy it was ridiculous! I think it was because my body was cleansing itself, my diabetes and hbp were gone....life was great!

Oh.......and bonus.  Today is my 9th wedding anniversary!

I married probably one of the most wonderful men there is (he cooks, and cleans and takes care of everything while paying for me to go to art school!).  *I* was the reluctant one and I'm so glad he stuck it out and convinced me he'd be worth my while.  I'm a very fortunate woman.

Hi Mary and everyone!!
I HAVE to ask:  What is Black Raspberry coffee?  I love coffee and raspberries, so this sounds  so interesting to me.

As far as sleep ~ well, after my surgery, I didn't sleep much due to the pain (gas).  Then, I found I went to bed earlier then I had been used to and up earlier.  So, it did change for a while.  But, then, Johnny got switched to afternoon shift at work, so now, I stay up till he gets home around 1:15 AM then we sleep till about 10ish.  I have always had a hard time sleeping and staying asleep.  As soon as I lay down, my mind perks up and starts thinking of things that need to be done.  I take an allergy pill now before bed and that helps me sleep now.  LOL

Take care and let me know about that raspberry coffee, please!!

God Bless,
Tari

Good morning.  I had a protein powder with nesquick mix.  I also added a little Hazelnut Cremer.
I twas good.

Then I have to take my dog over to another house to breed.  This is a first experience for both of us, so we're testing the waters together.  My dog is staying at her house tonight.

Gizmo (their dog) thought Sophie was his possession and barked at anyone who wanted to pet    her.  I'll be calling and picking Sophie up after we get back from the zoo tomorrow.

It's going to be a  long day.
