Good Morning All .  .

Did you notice that how fast the summer seems to go after the 4th of July?  or is it just me.

I spent the night napping on the couch . . I thought about going out with all my friends and getting crazy but lounging sounded so much better last night.  I am house sitting for a friend of mine that has a great screened porch with the most comfortable couch . . what was just going to be a little nap turned out to be a 4 hour rest and it was great!

QOTD- What's up for the weekend?
I am working this weekend  . . days only with no overtime. Love it! I will be home by 4:00 and have laundry to get done.  The new guy is stopping by for a quick dinner between jobs,  but excited that he takes the time to come and porch sit for an hour.  I may curl up in the lawn chair for 20 minutes just to feel the warm sun before dinner . .  . I think I like weekends with no big plans!

I hope you have a great weekend!

We have my niece's birthday party this afternoon at Stony Creek beach.  It will be fun because we always all "play" together - kids and adults - so we'll be active and having fun enjoying everyone's company.  Tomorrow, a few odd jobs around the house - and then my wicker chair on the front porch and the Sunday paper.

And yes - summer is coming to an end waaaaayyy too fast.  This is my absolute favorite time of the year so I want it to last and last.  I will be so sad to see winter again.

Morning all,

Had some peach carbmaster yogurt w/ go lean crunch, fresh pineapple and blueberries for breakfast, YUMMY!  But I made so much I couldn't fini****!  Does anyone else still do that....make a big serving size of something like you used to?  When I make a salad it's so darn big it lasts a few meals (I don't use lettuce, I use broccoli slaw so no wilty lettuce).  It's convenient for quickie meals later, but I just can't make small servings!

Q:  Hanging out around the house.  Today's finally going to be a nice day (I'm so sick of it being so hot!)  so we're going to take the puppies to the park for a hike later today.  Meeting friends for dinner tonight and just piddlie farting around the house (that's my Mom's saying, it means cleaning, laundry.....).

Have a great day all,

Edie

I love the weekends. I always stay up late Friday night. Today I was up early, had breakfast with my youngest and did grocery shopping. Now, I am so tired. I will be glad when the waight will come off. He is heading to the beach with his girlfriends family. So I will be alone, quiet peaceful house!!

I love the weekends

I made the group a little late, so good afternoon everyone! Summer is going by quickly, soon my daughter will be going back to college and I will miss her so much.  The end of summer means my most favorite time of the year --fall!

QOTD:
I have this weekend off so I am doing stuff around the house--- cleaning, yard work and tomorrow doing stuff with my mom and mom in law. My husband is having his surgery Wednesday so just trying to finish getting everything done so I can concentrate on him.

Sending good wishes and prayers for your husband's surgery on Wednesday.  Soon you guys will be dancing around the house..... just because you can.

Good evening

It was a nice morning of lounging at home and then over to grandmas in the afternoon. We sat outside for a while this afternoon and enjoyed the shade tree. I'm here with Grandma until tomorrow evening -- just in time to get home and do laundry and pack lunches for the week. Then the start of another work week.

Having a good day so far.  :0)
