OT - update
You probably won't remember this, but a year ago in August, I posted about my cousin's new baby and his medical issues. I thought I would let you guys know how he's doing. My cousin and his wife had a little boy last August and when he was a week old, they discovered that he had a brain tumor. They went in immediately to remove the tumor. It was cancer, but they couldn't get it all. My cousin and his wife were told that without treatment, he would probably live 2 years. With treatment (chemo/radiation), he might make it to 5. They opted for no treatment.
Well, Jas (rhymes with case) got LOTS of prayers and he is a miracle. The last scan of his brain was in May of this year. He is completely clear of any tumors and cancer. He is an adorable, happy little boy. He has some developmental delays and some possible blindness due to neurological issues (hard to determine in a one year old).
So, I just thought I would let you all know that your thoughts and prayers did not go unanswered!! Thank you!!!!
