Dr. Verseman, Kalamazoo Mi
Sooo, tonight was my first WLS Seminar, it was held at the Gilmore Center, Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo. It was very informative, and I can't stress how many times the surgeon, Dr. Stuart Verseman, had mentioned this site!
I'm very glad I joined this site a few weeks ago because of the recommendation of a good friend. I have had many questions answered previously to the seminar, so going tonight just answered only very few questions for me.
Tonight was great! I felt very comfortable with the Surgeon, and also Christa the Dietician. Both were very explainatory and detailed. They had no problem answering any questions. This visit only validates that I really DO want surgery, now the only question is whether RNY or VSG?
Anyone from the meeting at Bronson in Kalamazoo tonight, Monday August 2nd 2010, Please feel free to add me as a friend. Also, anyone in the area, do the same, I would LOVE to meet more surgery veterans!!!

If you really knew me, you'd see my heart is honest and pure, your painful words will push me forward on my journey and NOT knock me down! I will succeed this time, for I have the support of a 50 story building, and the love to last a thousand lifetimes! It's time for me to LOVE ME!
I am glad you attended your first seminar. Make sure you attend a couple, just to see that you have the right surgeon/hospital. I would also post this thread on the VSG board and see if you can get some replies from ppl who have had the vsg surgery. I bet they can help you out with the pros and cons vs. Rny....
