Got my date!

Got the call from my Dr.'s office yesterday! Only took one week for approval. I could have my surgery as early as the 10th, but we will be taking our daughter to college in New York the following week and I didn't want to make the trip that soon post-op.

So my date is Aug. 24 and they said I will be home the following day (if all goes well).

Looking forward to a place on the loser's bench!

Yay for you! It is a very exciting moment, I remember. I think you are wise scheduling it after taking your daughter to college. You want to give yourself as much time as necessary to recover, we all react to the surgery differently.

Congrats on getting your surgery scheduled and making sure it wont interfere with your daughter trip to college. This was you have time to organize, do the pre-op diet, and start healthy habits.
