MONDAY MORNING COFFEE TALK
I started my morning with a protein smoothie . . the blueberries are great right now!
Working this morning and I am on days this week so being able to go out for a walk in the evening is going to be great, I have been working so much that when I am off it seems there are to many weeds to pull and to much laundry to just put my shoes on and hit the road.
QOTD - What did you do for the weekend? Did you take any time for yourself?
On the few weekends I have off I went back to waiting tables in one of the many local bars so I worked Friday night, had a date on Saturday night and had to work on Sunday.
I did spend 30 minutes on the porch reading on Saturday afternoon . . I am loving summer!
Have a great day!

I had Sunday off. I visited an Aunt and Uncle. It was about an hour and a half ride from my house. It is all farm land by them so it was so pretty, so green. I also have today off, I am taking my son to she show maybe we will see two. I love doing that with him. I picked up hours at work this week, so I will be very busy.
My morning started with a protein coffee, now its gone :-(
My weekend was very good - went downstate to my sisters for my nephews bride-to-be bridayl shower. Took my mom shopping for a new dress afterwards, and I got one too. Then hung out with my sister the rest of the weekend. We went to an open house at Applewood (Mott estate) in Flint yesterday - that was very nice. Her son works there as a landscape designer. They also had a "Jack and the Beanstalk" play put on by the Kearlsey players I think its called - very cute and well done.
Not a lot of time for myself this weekend - besides the time I spent driving int he car! Does that count?
Now its back to work... but its a necessary evil I suppose!

Good morning everyone!
I started my morning with some coffee w/sugar free hazelnut creamer & splenda. Love that stuff! Then I had some blueberries and Carbmaster and some watrmellon. and I just finished up some tuna salad. Geez, I've eaten a lot already and it's only 10 am!
Kristy - I am loving the blueberries right now too! I've been going thru 2-3 quarts a week.
QOTD: This is the first weekend in a couple weeks I havent worked. I was down in Chelsea and went flower shopping for the wedding. I found some gorgeous hanging baskets that are just huge and will look great hanging from the gazebo. Then Sunday my daughter and I went shoe shopping. I had picked out a pair already, but both the girl's said 'you can't wear those with your dress' and when I showed them to my mom even she agreed! I found some at DWS that my daughter picked out that are adorable and match perfectly. Now I just have to find earings and a bracelet and I'm all set. Less than 3 weeks away!!
I am loving summer too!! But it's going too fast. I wish the humidity would go away!
Have a great day everyone!

Hit Goal 4/2/2010
I am about to make a protein shake.
On Sunday I started using my treadmill again. I got in 45 min not counting the warm up/cool down. I also got about 21,000 steps in. I am shocked I only hit 10,000 a few times before. However, I was walking a lot around the yard and back and forth to my mom's all day. Maybe it's right maybe not.
I didn't do much else other than cleaning a lot.
Jimi
But just like everything in my life I am taking it one day at a time . . however he did make hotel reservations for us in August . . we are going to Mackinaw for 3 days so I am already excited about that!

Had my protein shake this am....Kristy's right the blueberries are great right now. We buy a ton of them this time of the year and freeze them for our protein shakes for the rest of the year (we've bought about 35 lbs of them so far).
Q: We went to see Sting w/ the philharmonic orchestra, it was pretty good. The rest of the weekend was very relaxing. I wi**** was a bit cooler out (sorry Tina), I hate hiding in my house, we're stuck in the house all winter, I want my windows open!
Have a great week all,

QOTD: My husband and daughter were camping all week and came home on Friday, so I had piles and piles of laundry all weekend. But we did go out for breakfast on Saturday, just DH and me, so that was nice. And yesterday we did a big grocery shopping trip, then were lazy for the rest of the day. Nothing like a lazy Sunday to help ease you into another work week.
Bowchicka wow wow....Kristy's got an overnighter! Oh la la!
QOTD-I just ran errands. Got to see my brother for a bit. Teased him about looking like Lindsey Lohan with the tether on. He didn't think it was funny.
Nothing super exciting. I did nap with Nick on the couch for about 40 min. That was the best part of the whole weekend!
Be happy today!
