Well today marks one year for my wls.  I can't believe it, it has gone by so fast.  I consider myself very lucky.  I have had no major complications.  There have been a few bumps along the way but there usually are in life.  At the beginning of my journey I weighed 364.  Day of surgery I weighed 331.  Today I am 176.  That's 158 pounds from surgery and 188 total.  I would like to lose 6 more pounds.  I go to the doctor tomorrow to see what his input is.

Thanks for all the help and support along the way.  I could not imagine doing it by myself.

Congratulations!! What a wonderful subject to be able to post on. You have a lot to be proud of and thankful for.  My surgery is in two days and reading your post makes me think about where I'll be in a year.  Your weight loss is inspirational to me and I'm sure many others on this site.

Great Job!!

Two more days and I'll be saying the same thing, how happy I am with my results.
It's really a miracle, isn't it?
