Local Support Groups?

Does anyone know of any local support groups in Grand Rapids?

Grand Health Partners has a support group -- check out their website.

I think it's called Little Victories or something like that.  They don't call them support groups -- they call them Patient Focus Groups.

I am in GR and I have no clue... Would be nice to know.

Grand Health Partners has one on Monday Nights from 5 to 6pm.  the also have one the first and third thursdays of each month.

Grand Rapids does have a surgical support group. We are Little Victories Surgical Support. We are affilated with GHP but open to patients from any practice.

Just a little info about me. I am an RN but also a weight loss surgery patient. I had surgery with Dr Baker on Jan 30, 2006. I have lost just over 200lbs and my long list of medical problems has resolved. I work at Spectrum Health and will be taking a position on the bariatric unit this fall. So if you will be having surgery I would love to touch base with you.
