Good Morning everyone!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Summer weekends go way too fast.. Happy belated Father's Day to all of our Dads
What's brewing in your cup this morning? Black, decaf for me.
QOTD-How about some raves this morning? I always find they are motivators to me to remember to be grateful for the good things or "raves" in my life. My rave is my grandson Colin. At 11 months, he is smart and has a sense of humor that is so contagious. He is such a bright spot in my life. I also rave WW frozen fudge bars-so good and helps with my sweet "fixes". My raspberries are also my rave. They are coming in, now, and are so marvelous.. Worth pickin...
Have a good one.

Good morning Deb and those to follow.

I am just finishing up my big ole' mug of regular coffee with SF Hazelnut creamer & splenda.

Was a nice weekend.  We had 5 graduation parties to attend on Saturday.  Friday night the storm that came through Chelsea knocked out power for a lot of people so three of the parties we went to they had no power! I would have been stressed, but they all went off just fine.  A couple more grad parties next weekend and then we are done for this year!

QOTD:  My raves are definitely our kids.  I'm so thankful Steve & I's kids all get along so well.  All five of them make us very proud!

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning !

Well, I'm through my coffee, time for some protein today.  We had a great weekend !  Friday we cooked for my daughter's wedding, the storm hit and she didn't lose electricity ! !   Yay, the wedding and reception were in her yard on Saturday and it was a beautiful day for a wedding.

Raves:  Our 5 children and the 3 spouses ! ! ! Our beautiful grandchildren!!  I was so proud of my daughter's 2 boys on Saturday !  They walked their mother down the aisle and stood up there so proud!  When they were presented as a man and wife and family, the youngest boy put his fist up and said YAY !  My other grandson, the youngest one and only so far by my Son, he is a joy to be around.  He says "thank You" to everything, I'm sure he doesn't quite know what it means but it is a good habit to start!

Good morning!  Friday night, we were at my inlaws.  The storm hit really badly here.  There was definitely some type of "treetop tornado" that went through.  Left a very specific path.  Seems odd that straight winds would've done the damage that it did  Nothing happened at my inlaws, though, even though just about the entire town was without power on Saturday.  We came home from Hillsdale on Sunday to find that we were without power!  Never even occurred to us that we might be without power or I would've called the neighbors across the road and we would've stayed at my inlaws.  It was supposed to be back on Sunday at 10PM but they changed it to Monday at 5PM.  So AJ went to work  and Dub and I came to Hillsdale.

QOTD:  Raves - Dub and my inlaws!!!  All awesome!

Good Afternoon!
I am at work, looking busy.  Having some yogurt and grapes for lunch.  We didn't see much of a storm this weekend, even though the sirens in Westland were going off on Saturday night.

Hi all

Just having some soup for lunch and taking advantage of this little break in the action. The big golf outing event is tomorrow (pray the thunderstorms pass!), so I'll be glad when that's over. I'm finishing up some last minute signing and need to get this powerpoint presentation done (got 6 slides started, 200 more to go).  Oh the joys of being the graphics gal, huh?

RAVE --- this morning I had the chance to get a slow start to my day. So I took my protein coffee and a book out to my patio and started the morning with peace and quiet. I didn't read much, but I watched the birds flit around the lawn searching for their morning breakfast and gathering grass for their nests. The sun was just peeking through the trees and the light was beautiful. It was the best 30 minutes I've had all week...
