TGIF !!!!
Morning all,
Started the day very slowly today, didn't sleep well last night. My neck and shoulders have been killing me and pulling weeds for the past two nights have not helped, but the blackberries really need it and I will reap the rewards in a few weeks!!!
Tomorrow I'm driving up North to spend the day with my parents for Fathers Day, taking them out to an early dinner then driving home.....I love driving 5 hours in a day, NOT, but my Dad's worth it! But you know what ****** me off, none of my sib's are doing the same thing. My Dad is 77 this year and we are lucky to still have him. On top of that they live in AZ and are only here a few months a year and none of my sibs go up and visit with them that often, they always say "we are so lucky to still have Mom and Dad", but they rarely take the effort to go visit them, it just ****** me off.

I can totally feel you on the sib thing. My mom is retiring from driving a school bus (for 35 years!) and we sent her flowers to her work. My bro and sis didn't even acknowledge it. They probably won't remember my dad on Father's Day, either. I'm the middle kid, the peacemaker, so I am always worried about everyone's feelings while the rest of the family just do whatever they want. Oh well. I guess that's my lot in life. Could be worse things, right?
This weekend I am doing some projects around the house and catching up on my "office" work at home. I have a ton of unopened mail and stuff that needs to be filed.

HI!!! We took my mom to IN, yesterday. Her husband is there at his daughter's house. Then they are going to his son's in KY and then heading back to TN. None of use were happy about this, but we feel like we are doing what my mom wants. It's just been a mess. I know we'll get a call in the near future to come get her again. That will be the last time. Sigh....
Today, when AJ gets home from work, we are heading to Hillsdale. We are spending the weekend at the inlaws. Tomorrow's plan is to take the boat out and hang on the lake. Tomorrow night, we are going to a 40th anniversary party for his aunt and uncle. DH's grandma flew in from FL and is very excited to get to meet Dub, her 9th great-grandchild. THen Sunday, we'll head home and probably just hang out at home, in the pool. Hoping to have a nice, relaxing weekend, after all that has transpired with my mom. My dad passed away 14 years ago, yesterday, so Father's Day has been bittersweet, but now I celebrate it for AJ and Dub!! YAY!!
