Morning Mary and all who follow,

I have a few errand to run today.  I hope to be done early.  My son got his license yesterday and wanted to go every where.  It was so neat to see him this excited.  It was just oozing out of him.  He ended up going to the parts store and his girlfriends house and lastly he took his buddy home.  His car is old and has many issues so that makes me feel better because he has to baby it along.

QOTD:  I had my protein coffee today.  I have become addicted to it.  It is not a good morning without it.

Protein coffee for me too just like every morning.  Sometimes I switch up and have a yogurt, but mostly it's protein decaf.
Glad you're doing so well Mary, and still pumped about it.  I still can't believe that I'm finally having some success in the weight loss arena.  It still amazes me.
Well, gotta run into town and do some shopping.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Rain here today.
It is what it is.
If He brings you to it, He'll bring you through it...

Congrats Mary, you must be feeling great!

Morning all,  had my shake and now on to iced tea.

Q:  Today is work, and when I get home some weeding the blackberry bushes and puppy training, in other words, same old, same old.  But at least it's not Febuary and cold and nasty!

Go out and enjoy the nice weather today.

Edie

Good Morning !

Congratulations Mary !  How wonderful !

QOTD:  I have just plain strong black coffee, feeling stressed, to much to do and no time to do it.  Once we get past my daughters wedding on Saturday things will slow down, I'm sure, or maybe I'm not sure.....

Have a great day and I just want to say how much I appreciate all of you for being here !

Sitting here at work....1/2 day tomorrow, docs appt to have blood work done tomake sure my iron is up and where it should be before surgery gets scheduled for my store boughts next month....I will be glad to get these expanders out and off my chest....

Yea...that puppy training is something else....Ozzy has been officially named Ozzy Loco....He loves to chew on wood...he decided to chew on a piece that he shouldn't be chewing on....I dabbed it with Texas Petes hot sauce and he loved it..  You would think he only had 1 chew toy instead of 50...nahhhhhhhhhhhhh I wouldn't call him spoiled, well yea maybe...

My puppies are Euell Gibbons re-incarnated, they love to eat the weeds I pull, wood, they dig for bugs in the grass, they fight over worms they dig up.....
un-friken'belivable.  The vet said they need more toys, ummmm no, they will put the wood in their outdoor bed right next to their 5 outdoor toys and chew away on the wood!  I just hope they don't hurt themselves and need surgery.  You should see my daylilies and hosta's, they all look like manger's, totally flattened.....gotta love puppies!

Wood out of the fire pit and ummmmmmmm no, if he had any more toys I'd have to build a new wing on the house and need another 1/2 acre.

Its a puppy thang....

Congrats Mary - 117 lbs - that is fantastic!!  Keep up the great work!

Sally - I agree - I totally appreciate everyone here too and all the support not just with WLS issues, but with life issues :-)

QOTD:  I think I am going to go back for a second mug of coffee.  I had one this morning then ate my breakfast of yogurt and a banana.  Then had some pasta salad for lunch which was left over from my son's grad party.  That was yummy!  I am suprised at how sometimes I can eat pasta and other times one bite and I know I need to stop.  Glad today my pouch let me eat it because it was delicious :-)

Have a great day everyone.

I am 4 weeks post op and doing ok. Cant figure out how to update my ticker thing but am down about 30# and feeling pretty good.  Just cant stand sweets (whi*****ludes my protein drinks) and having lots of trouble introducing new foods.

Looking for friends and like minded bariatric patients!  :)
