Good Morning All on this Rainy Day!

I started my day again with protein hot chocolate with a splash of sf coconut syrup . . very good!

QOTD- What is favorite thing to do when it's raining outside?

I call these dark gloomy days pajama days . . I love to just stay home and not get dressed.  Catch up on my magazines or take a long nap.

Enjoy your day!

Good morning!

Had a big glass of protein ice chai tea this morning and some coffee when I got to work.  Just realized I missed my yogurt for breakfast, so I'll grab that now - otherwise I'll be overly hungry at lunchtime and eat too fast and get food stuck and be miserable the rest of the day.... so yogurt will make my day better.

QOTD -- Yep, I'm all over the Pajama Day idea too.  It's been a long time since I've done a PJ Movie Day - I think I need one of those.  I love the series of Anne of Green Gables and like to watch them back to back every couple years in a big long movie marathon (each movie is about 3 hours long - so that's 9 hours or so).  Pull the easy chair up close to the TV, curl up in my jammies and a cozy blanket and settle in for the day.

Good morning!

Pam I had to laugh as I read your post because I to forgot my yogurt for breakfast because I am busy at work so about an hour ago I realized I hadn't eaten yet and instead of my yogurt I decided to have some turkey lunchmeat.  OK, must have been hungry because I ate too fast and had to go to the bathroom because I thought I might just throw up (TMI :-)  Whew, that feeling passed and I just finished a carbmaster yogurt with some fiber twigs - which is what I should have had in the first place!!

QOTD:  I'm with you girls on staying in PJ's on a rainy day.  I love rainy Satruday's in the fall when I can watch football games on tv or rainy Saunday's when I can lay on the couch in my PJ's and watch Lifetime movies!!

Have a great day everyone!

Had a protein vanilla tea this morning, just a crazy busy day - so now I'm having some tuna salad for lunch.  Kind of skipped the whole breakfast thing....  funny, but I still don't get hungry at all.

QOTD:  I love to stay inside, read a book or watch TV.  Keep that cozy thing going.  I'm going to make beef stew for dinner so that sounds nice and warm, too.  But wait... do I see a peek of sun in the sky?  Maybe!  The rain just stopped here, so maybe I will go for a walk later if it stays nice.

Hi girls,
I'm at work and the rain has stopped here for now.

QOTD-On Monday, it was raining and I was sick with a nasty stomach bug.  I stayed on my couch all day and watched Weeds on On Demand.  All day.  I don't think I have ever (since I had kids) sat on the couch all day.  It was nice, but a bit weird!!  My other favorite thing to do when it rains is to open the window just a bit to hear it and smell that "rain smell".  Until it starts to smell like worms, then I'm done!

Hope you all have a great day!!

OH MY GOSH you crack me up . . . I love the smell of a good worm!

Now I know one of the reasons you don't garden . .

Thanks for giving me a giggle this afternoon!

HA!  That made me laugh Brenda!  The smell of worms.  I didn't even know they smelled! LOL

But it reminded me of how I do like having my windows open when it's raining especially at night laying in bed listening to a good thunderstorm!

Hello every one

got notified that DH's mother is in Icu lung cancer and other stuff. in FL. We have not spoke to her since 1998, she had some issues.  It is very difficult for my DH. He is torn as to what he should do. His sister is the execitor for her needs.  I told him he should go and get closure to the whole situation. My children and I will try to go Friday, if she makes it that long, so they can say good bye. She has never ecknowledged my kids, like they were part of the family, she even sent back their graduation anouncements as Return to Sender. There was too much drama between her and her x husband DH;s dad so we ( my kids and I ) stayed out of all of it.

QOTD: tv and not smelling wormies lol

Mary, so sorry to hear your hubby's facing this.  David lost his sister a couple months ago and they too had a very strained relationship.  It was a very emotionally confusing time for him.

In my opinion you hubby has to do what is best for HIM, whatever that may be.  Ultimately she will be gone, but he will have to live with any regrets he has if he doesn't do what's in his heart NOW.

Good luck and pass on my best wishes,

Edie

Good afternoon all,

Sounds like we need a slumber party !!!!!  I love a rainy day too, and of course PJ's, a good book, movies......it all sounds good to me.  It's a good thing we all don't live in the North West, none of us would get anything done, hahahahaha.

Have a great day all,

Edie
