So what's shaking on Sunday?

All my Memorial day celebrations are scheduled today.  First a BB at my best friend's new boyfriend's home,which I am nervous about because I won't know anyone and he seems to make it well known to her that he is a millionaire.  Most people I know *****ally have money aren't quite so boastful about it.

Then off to my other best friend's house to celebrate her daughter's 21st birthday.  Now there, I can relax and be me, warts, poverty and all.

Warts and all huh......I love those type of get togethers :)!

We're off to buy a new riding lawn mower, RIP my Simplicity, you gave us 11 great years.  Hope the new one gives us that many good years.  I just hate the thought of spending that kind of money, but we have 1.5 acres that won't stop growing :).   Besides that, not much else happening today.

Hi all!

I spent yesterday in the sun and I have the sunburn to prove it!  Spent longer at the yard sale thing than I'd planned to - and spent more money than I'd anticipated spending (but got some super cool stuff!).  But today my sunburn has faded nicely and it'll be a nice base tan for summer (the benefits of my Native American heritage).  Plus I got a nice chunk of my homework done yesterday while lounging in the lawn chair -- so that's a big bonus. 

This morning I've been up and working already.  The dishwasher is rolling and I even vacuumed the dining room (which currently serves as school-work-central).  I've got my to-do list done and even got some stuff crossed off it. Now the next task is "1 hour on school work".  Then a 15 minute housework break before another hour of school work.  By the end of the day I should be in good shape, I think.  

My new favorite morning protein drink..... protein chai tea over ice. OMG!

Hello Everyone!

I am counting down the minutes here at work . . today when I get out  I'm getting out the power washer. . . it is my favorite summer thing . . it's getting stuff done and playing in the water at the same time.
I want to do my porch before I get the summer furniture out.  I have all my flowers planted and my pond cleaned out  . . .  man I love sunny weekends!

No BBQ's for me . . I am still home alone and getting tons done.
