Good Morning everyone

Having  nectar protein Caribbean cooler coffee again. I finally broke down and got some of that Body-Fortress stuff but have not tried it saving it til finish off the nectar tubs that I am not in love with. Lemon Tea and Caribbean cooler. Hubby will be in today, and I think he finely shook that rain cloud he has been hauling around. LOL

QOTD: What do you think happens to that missing sock? I have seen where people suggest safety pinning them together before laundering them. But really who is going to pin and unpin a bunch of socks?

my solution is to just always buy the same sty/e and color socks for everybody in the house then we can make pairs from the lost survivors.

Going to be busy today. have a bunch of stuff to get ready.

Good morning

So tired today. I have energy, but my eyes are sleepy.  I think I need more coffee...

QOTD -- my grandmother safety pins her socks. It's not really that big of a deal, actually.  The night before, she lays out her clothes for the next day. So when she gets her pajamas on, she takes her socks off for the day, and takes the pin out of tomorrow's socks to pin the dirty ones together before throwing them in the laundry basket.

That is so cute.

I would not be against the idea if it was just me But the problem around here is that I couldn't get the rest of the clan to follow suit. There would be many excuses like " I FOR GOT, or the infamous "We don't have anymore safety pins." And then the cunning one who would pitch the safety pins in the trash or hide them so he didn't have to do it.

Basically I just make 'em do their own darn laundry.

But just were are those missing socks.??????????????

Mary - I saw a show once that explained where the missing socks go!!!!! :-)

If you look at your washer, there is a space between the drum and the wall of the washer.  They go up and over the drum so they end up basically between the drum and shell of the washer.  Not sure if I'm explaining it the way you can visualize it, but I saw it on TV and once I saw it thought 'oh, so that's where they go!!!!'

You could just put all the loose socks into a mesh laundry bag and throw that in the wash.  Then throw it in the dryer.  When it's done, sort the socks.  I used to do that, a long time ago.  Doesn't seem to be too much of a problem, now.

When I do end up with an errant, single sock, I throw it in a bag on my dresser.  Every couple of weeks, I go through the bag and pair up the socks.  After a few times of doing that, I toss the ones that keep ending up as singles, or use them to dust.

Hey Mary,

I had yogurt and a banana for breakfast and a bologna sandwich for lunch today.  gonna try to finish of that pot of chili i made a few days ago.

qotd:  if i cant find the socks, which happens often with my daughters cuz she has colored ones, i just pitch em.  i finally learned to buy all white and the same style to make my life easier.  but sometimes she talks me into those cute ones with monkeys on em....

Long day at work today.  I have a killer headache. Not sure if it is stress from job change that is coming and should of already been here or something else.  My neck and shoulder are very sore.

QOTD:  Everybody in the house has their own style of sock.  That way they are easy to sort and it always match's.  We all have white socks.  Mine are New Balance, and the boys have their own Hains.  Nobody complains although when my oldest son runs out of his he wears mine.  Although I have big feet his are huge.  He stretches them out, he wears a size 16.  Kids.
