Good Morning Michiganders and anyone else.
\Had a beautiful weekend.
Did the Race for the cure Saturday and did some yard work Sunday with DH. The 5K went well and this time I was not last. LOL 55minutes.
QOTD: Minnie and Max Goals. Do you have a daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, 5yr, 10 yr., excetera. Plans?
Not necessarily to do with weight loss but for life in General. And are you on track?

I just realized I posted to yesterday's thread thinking it was today's, so if you want to know what I've eaten and what I will have for lunch look there (I know you all will because it's so important in your daily life LOL!!!) cause I'm to lazy to re-post it.
Q: I am extremely goal oriented. I remember in my 20's a friend of mine always knew when my birthday was coming because I would get depressed, it was because I would reflect on my life and I wasn't happy in the direction it was heading (wow if you read my post on Sunday, this place is becoming a shrinks couch for me LOL!). The funny thing is that I never noticed my melancholy mood that she did, but once she pointed it out to me I decided that if I wanted to be happier I had to work on it. So I went back to school became a big Sister with the Big Brother/Big Sister organization and made other major changes in my life! Nowadays I always set goals of every size.....big, little, long term.....I don't achieve all of them but I do learn from all of them.

I'm 3wks post VSG tomorrow, feeling pretty good.. I go bck to work next week, (Yuck)
I bought a treadmill this weekend and am working on getting in some continuous exercise, I did 40 minutes(total) yesterday,and had a very hard time getting up this morning; guess I'd better get walking, so I can get up to go to work next week...lol.
QOTD: My immediate goal is to get my weight loss going, I haven't lost any weight since last week. Intermediate: hoping to be under 200# before my daughter comes home in November

Good morning all!
Had a good weekend ... Saturday was packed and I was gone ALL day (left at 7:30am got home around 11:00 pm). Sunday I spent lazing around the house and packing up a ton of crap for donations to the charity yard sale my mother is organizing this coming weekend. It felt great to get all that stuff out of my house (and anticipate a nice tax deduction from Uncle Sam). Except now I have to get my butt in gear on a task I've been procrastinating on -- buying a new living room chair. I sent my current chair off with the pile of donations, so now I need to actually get around to buying a new one (that I've been saying i need for over a year now).
QOTD -- Yep, I have goals. Not sure I think of them as "goals" so much though because that word doesn't really feel concrete enough for me. Instead I think of them as "tasks".... individual tasks that need to be accomplished in order to achieve the objective. So I want to open my own freelance graphic design business one day -- but in order to do that I need to tick a thousand tasks off my life to make that dream happen. So yes, it's a long term goal, but if I think of it as something on my task list, I'm more likely to achieve it.

I just got back from the allergist. I was supposed to be at work, but it is too close to lunchtime to go in, so I'll go after.
QOTD-Sheeh. You guys and these questions. Now everyone is going to know what a sloth I am. I can't think of any goals I have, or any that I have ever had. I just kind of chug along through life. The only thing I'm "working on" is Dave and I started a plan two years ago to reduce our debt to only a house payment. That is going well, but because he is here to manage everything. He set up the goals and I just do my part by curbing my shopping habit.
Ok, time to get in some lunch before the bus comes. Have a good day!

I have goals but don't always follow through with the plan, tend to get sidetracked in other directions. So I guess I am not very focused. I tend to have too many goals (plans, tasks) and spread myself too thin. LOL so I have a bunch of little things adding up to unfinished business. lol
