Sunday Morning Sunshine

It looks like it's going to be another beautiful day today.  Spent the day yesterday outside at an experienced riders course (ERC)  Motorcycle riding.  Passed the course, but in the process got too much sun.  Looked in the mirror this morning and was certainly surprised at the red face (w/racoon eyes) looking back at me.  I have to remember the sunblock next time.  Was exhausted after the day and was so tired I didn't sleep well last night.  Go figure.
I'm hanging in there with my weight.  Still want to lose about 10 more pounds, but if I don't I'm ok with that too.  Yesterday at the class the other lady said to me, 'You're so tiny and you ride such a big bike.  How do you do it?"  That's an absolute first!  That's one adjective that's never been used in reference to me...TINY???  I think she was just being nice.
Hope everyone has a beautiful sunny and blessed Sunday.
Jan

I'm excited for today's weather as well!  The hubs and I are going on a bike ride later of about 15 miles.  First off to the laundromat

Enjoy the day!

We rented a hotel room here in town so my niece could have a pool party.  My 12 yo was getting me so stressed.   Last thing I want to do is start binge eating but that's what I was doing!  It was a good time though despite the tantrums of a pre-teen with ADHD, etc.  I am glad to be home though.  I didn't get any sleep.  I seen the sun come up over Lake Superior this morning.  I had my protein coffee and all was well.  For now...lol.

Jan that must be so nice to get such a compliment.

Like I mentioned before I am still where I was in November...205!  I guess this is it for me.

Have a nice day everyone.

Good morning Jan  and Michigan
It does look to be another beautiful day here.  Just hope the warm stays.
I am still in the hotel in Whitehall.  A good friend had emergency surgery Friday  and is a long ways from home,  She works for uncle SAM and travels all the timer\.  She didn't want to be alone so here I am.  I stayed with her when she was in this area when mom was still alive so was able to spend more  time with her.  I am glad to be able to return the help,  My current little rugrat loves the hotel  the jacuzzi the heated pool the long halls!   First time she  has shown any interest in anything so I am letting  her run and wind up as long as she isn't bothering the other patrons! She loves playing nurse. Heaven help the world if I hand my friend a pill or glass of water or anything!! That is Little bits job!!  Well the pest is awake and so is Teresa so we are going to investigate the Continental breakfast bar  gonna head home after I get my friend some lunch. Shes doing in enough better that I can haul her home with me.  My home is cheaper than a hotel for 2 weeks!   Enjoy our BEAUTIFUL DAY Michigan

Good morning Tiny (Jani) and the rest of the Michiganders Forum attendees.

You know GMTAL (great minds think a like), I was thinking that a good title for today would have to have Sun, Sunny, or Sunshine in it too. lol

I am so glad for you congratulation on the weight loss success. Take that compliment and OWN IT, 'cause you deserve it. Your are a tiny gurl!. Now get on that bike and "Ride Sally Ride!".

Sorry skinny jani but I hope you don't mind if I hi jack some of your post to do QOTD; since this is a great topic.
Love you angel!

QOTD: Do you remember the first WOW compliment you received? What was it? How did it make you feel?  For newbies What would be the Cream De La Crea~ {spelling} (frosting on the cake) of WOW moments that you are hoping for after surgery? Describe how you will feel when that happens?

my answer: DH and I were out for b-fest yesterday, I was complaining that my kids have a ton of laundry stacking up in there rooms. I said I wouldn't mind washing the cloths up for them if they would bring them out and sort them. "I could use the exercise going up and down the steps". DH eyes got very big but he didn't say anything, Then i realized that a year ago I would have had my DD take the cloths up and down the steps cause I could not do it because of my weight. I said to my hubby that sounds funny that I would say that I need exercise and didn't mind doing some.
He just smile and said yep!. I even surprised myself with that. So I guess some aspects of you life just seem to transform naturally, And those are the true WOW moments.

enjoy this sunshiny day. hope you all are safe.

Hi Jan!  Very cool you passed the advanced course!!

I went out for a ride yesterday - was nice.  Tried to stay away from the water as it was cooler there.

I put my stock seat back on my bike.  I had a mustang seat, which I loved, but it set me up just a little too high and I wasn't as comfortable on it.  What a difference it makes, but the stock seat hurts my butt - damned if I do, damned if I don't!  LOL.  Was told there's a Marine place here in town that does custom work.  I may take it there and see if they can change the padding out.

Congrats on being called "Tiny"!!  First time I was called that I couldn't believe it either... hard to see ourselves as "tiny".

Good Morning All,

Hope to take my new bike (thank you garage sale) out for a spin today.  Have not been on one since I was a kid.  Hope I don't fall off.  My youngest son is afraid to ride a bike (one of many fears).  I am hoping when he See's me, he will want to go on rides with me.  I bought a fat butt bike seat to ease  the impending pain.

QOTD:  I will tell you my favorite wow moment instead of the first.  I have a friend at work and I have always looked at her as a normal sized/to thin person.  I was leaning across the counter putting some paperwork away and she asked me what size pants I wore.  When I told her she was like wow.  I smiled the rest of the day.

Howdy Jan and everyone,
I am just getting ready to go spend Nick's birthday money at Buy Buy Baby.  I went grocery shopping last night at midnight so I would only have one thing to do today.  Oh yeah, I am baking doggie biscuits now too, and those will be done before I leave.

Glad to hear everyone's accomplishments.  Yay!

Hope you all have a great day!

Will you please send me your dog biscuit recipe.  Is it weight loss friendly?  I have a couple of pudgy puppies.
