This Sunday, May 16th, NBC'**** show, The Biggest Loser will be coming to town! The Biggest Loser production crew along with trainer, Bob Harper and host Alison Sweeney will be at Ford World Headquarters filming for their upcoming 10th season. At the shoot, Bob and Alison will inspire all of us to get fit and three preselected contestants from metro Detroit will compete in a Step-Up Fitness Challenge. The first 2 contestants *****ach 500 steps will win an exclusive spot on The Biggest Loser ranch. Here's how you can help: We would like you to come dressed in your favorite Warriors in Pink apparel and cheer on your fellow metro Detroit contestants while showing support for Ford. Bring your bandanna from last year's Komen Detroit Race for the Cure®. The first 200 attendees will receive a FREE Warriors in Pink t-shirt. Please arrive this Sunday, May 16th at Ford World Headquarters (American Road; Dearborn, MI 48120) by 8:30 a.m. and park on the east side of the building in lot 5 or lot 6. You'll be asked to sign in with The Biggest Loser production team prior to the filming taking place. We hope to see you there!

Nope, and I even work for Ford. I feel "The Biggest Loser" is a shameless exploitation of obese people and their medical conditions. Likewise, the show's producers have seen fit to always present WLS in a negative light. I suspect that if a person had any other medical affliction ans was featured a 'reality' show, with such a pseudo-medical, subjective, anecdotal, presentation of a serious medical condition, would be either banded by the FCC or see a backlash of public objections and protests. Obese people are the last subjects freak shows, it seems, that are still acceptable in our society.
