I hope Deb is having nice weather in Vegas.  It sure isn't nice here!!

How's everyone doing?  It's my oldest son's 18th birthday today!  I can't believe it.  I was 18 when I got married, and my mom seemed so old and "out of it" to me then.

QOTD-Do you worry about your age, or is it just a number?

I never did before I hit 37.  My husband is 8 years younger than me, and it used to be cute.  Now I am feeling really old and its just a little weird.  WLS has brought out the wrinkles in my face (all that fat was good for something!).  I usually don't worry about getting older too much, but sometimes it hits me that I am no spring chicken!!

Hey Bren and all.  Thought I'd do a quick pop in this morning.  Periodically I check in to try to get the scoop, but haven't been posting.
QOTD:  Any more I don't worry about my age.  It's just a number now.  When I think about my age it sounds old, but I don't feel it.  Yesterday Gary and I took the dogs for a walk and he had to stop and rest because his hips were bothering him.  I couldn't believe that I was still full of energy and he was the one that needed to rest.  Used to be me.
Went thrift shop shopping yesterday and I got 6 tops for uner $12.00.  Love the re-sale places. 
Hope everyone is doing well.  Rainy cold and dreary today.  Good day to build another fire in the fireplace and curl up with a book and afghan.

What a gloomy, dreary day !  I hope it isn't like this tomorrow morning, we are going on our motorcycles to Iowa in the morning.  Yes, the long johns are still out and will be worn along with many other layers of clothes !  I even wore long johns last night golfing.  My hands were the only thing that got cold!

QOTD: - Age is only a number now !   I love my life and I know that I don't let my age stop me from doing anything.  My weight was all the held me back before, now there is no excuses !  (oops, except a few aches and pains now...LOL)

I really don't like rainy days lately.  We adopted a little shih tzu to be a companion for Jake since we had to put our bulldog down.  She is a really sweet dog, but is obviously used to someone taking her outside and waiting until she does her business.  Rainy days it's not fun.

QOTD- Brenda, I was 35 when it hit me I was getting old!  I try not to worry about it too much, but I am secretly keeping track of it because I want to start collecting social security before they run out of money.  haha

I've gotten up 3 times to go get breakfast and each time I get distracted, UGH!... so I'll do it as soon as I finish here. 

QOTD -- I turned 40 this year. Its strange to think about me being that age because I don't feel like I'm 40. It feels like I just finished high school a minute ago, ya know.  It seems like I've got a lot of stuff I want to accomplish in my life yet and I'm behind schedule.

Good Morning,

I am heading to Tennessee right after work today and I am so excited.  I got a net-book and haven't had a chance to even check it out so I am planning on spending 5 days in a lawn chair rain or shine playing with my new computer, cross stitching or napping.  I was so busy getting stuff together last night I forgot about support group meeting  . .  so I am waiting for the post also Pam.

QOTD- Age has always been just a number to me.  I have to say I sure don't feel like I will be 53 this summer.  I think I am stronger than ever before.  I to have lots of wrinkles but I think most are age or sun  . .  and I have learned to accept them with grace.
