Good Morning,

OK . . where is everyone hiding?

I started with protein hot chocolate this morning.

QOTD-   Have you taken out your summer clothes from last year? . .  are they loose? or is it time to be back on track?  If it's time to get back on track . . what will you start with . . more water? less carbs?

Enjoy your day!

Good Morning Kristy and the rest of the Michiganders and lurkers too.
GMTAL: coffee/w chocolate for me this am too.

tried to up date my ticker and weight on OH but the Health tracker is not working. so until they fix it I am stuck.  Wish they would leave good enough alone.

When DH came in yesterday we stopped at the GW store. I found three pair of jeans that fit really well. (SIZE 18 W) down from 28W. Whoo Hooo! and a ton of nice summer type blouses, shirts and sweater. did you know that you can also deduct purchases as a donation to GOOD WILL and Salvation army. NOT just donations. Because when you purchase it is the same as making a donation. Any way I spent about 50 bucks on a big bag of stuff.
DH is a real big helper when combing through all those racks of cloths. I tell him what size and he finds them. my favorite pair are some Levi stonewashed denims. they fit like a glove and make me feel small. not tiny just smaller.

QOTD: I had very few summer stuff cause I refused to buy any more close in size 28w, cause I knew I was going to have surgery. but I did have a short set that I purchased just before I decide to check out the surgery. When I bought it  the arms were too tight and I hung it on a hanger and shoved it in the back of my closet. so i have been saving it until nice warmer weather got here.
I put it on a day or so ago and it is a 3X top and shorts.. Well Do the words SWIMMING mean anything to you all. LOL What a waste still have the tags on them. Making a care package with my before close to give to a friend who is just behind me a size or so.

be safe and have a fabulous day!

Good afternoon everyone.
Had a gyno appointment today.  Always fun, right?  Ugh.  But, I did speak with Dr. Zander at U of M OB/GYN and she said to tell everyone on the board that they are welcome at that clinic.  She specifically said it pains her to know that some women don't take care of their gynecological health because they are afraid that the doctor will be "mad" at them for being overweight or lecture them and make them feel bad.  She isn't like that at all....just so you know.   It's really important to have your girly bits checked out regularly!

QOTD-Hell no.  I don't have "summer" and "winter" clothes.  I wear the same thing year round because my arms are so gross, and I firmly believe if you don't have good looking legs you shouldn't wear shorts (mine are crazy looking with all the skin, etc.).  So I have jeans, work pants, and knit shirts that I wear all the time.  The only change is my jacket, which I am still wearing, and don't put away because I'm cold at night.  Whew!  That was a long answer.  And will also explain why, if you see me out and about, I am wearing long sleeves in 85 degree weather.  Oh wait!  I forgot my flip flops!  Those did come out.  And they fit me just like they did last year.  Yay me!

Have a good day!!

I got online this morning and opened this thread so I could post but got sidetracked and now it's 2PM and I'm back.

Had coffee, oatmeal with blueberries (shared with Dub) and some water.  A typical morning/day.  I didn't have any plans to go anywhere today, so just hanging out in my pj's, doing stuff around the house.

QOTD:  I have a tendency to buy new summer clothes every year.  LOL!  I usually end up with chlorine on my shirts or something.  I go through what I have and go from there.   Everything should still fit!

Good afternoon all

Trying to be good eating... trying I said....

QOTD:  Yes, I've gotten out my summer clothes.  While I'm the same size and weight, they fit different.  My weight has shifted around and what fit me well in the waist last year is gaping this year (maybe the TT had something to do with it?) but I think some weight has shifted to my bum/thigh area.  So, my favorite 2 pair of shorts don't fit as well this year....  BUT - some I bought at the end of last year fit better because now I don't have the muffin top!

I don't want to give it away, but her name starts with an "E" and ends with a "die".

Happy Birthday to one beautiful, strong, crazy woman!!!!!!!

Hi everyone!

Finally logging on today as I was at Hurley most of the day.  Brought my daughter home today and will spend the night at her apartment to make sure she's ok.  She took a shower when she got home and has had some V8 Tomato Basil soup - like 2 teaspoons full :-)  She did very well with her surgery - was up every hour or so walking the halls!!  More than I can say for myself when I had my surger!

QOTD:  I have to buy all new summer clothes.  I was a size 16 last summer because I was still losing and I just bought two pairs of capri's last weekend that are size 2.  I don't have any warm weather clothes at all.  I won't be wearing shorts, my thighs aren't pretty, but I'm happy with capri's.  And if I can find some lightweight three quarter lenghth sleeved shirts I'll be even more happy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EDIE!!!!!

Nan
