 Have you called your insurance company yet?
Remember that even if one person's policy covers something, that doesn't mean yours will --- each employer negoiates a different package of benefits based on what they want to provide. Best to find out what your policy covers to be sure...

I answered your post on the plastic surgery forum but will here too.

I have Federal BCBS and Dr DiNick in Ypsilanti got my insurance to pay for the panni.  I believe Federal BCBS falls under the states' rules - but you may want to get a consult and talk to them about it. 

He's a fabulous surgeon too.
