OT: What satisfies your craving for a crunchy snack?

I was talking to a friend today and we were saying how we crave salty crunchy snacks.  We talked about the soy crisps they sell, those are a no-go for us.  I told her I dip pork-rinds into salsa and that seems to do the job.  I don't do it a lot, just when I want potato chips.

What do you reach for when you want crunch?

Seriously, if I have the urge for crunchy/salty then that's what I have.  I don't keep stuff like that in the house because it's not something we normally eat.  But occasionally, I'll buy a 99cent bag of Lay's plain potato chips and have some of those.  I really can't eat pork rinds.  They make me choke for some reason.  I do like the soy crisps, though.  I used to buy those and eat lots of them, thinking it was ok...they are soy.  Yeah...I was doing better with my half mini bag of potato chips.

I do like the pretzel thins and pita chips.  All of them are bad.  LOL!

I like Triscuits for something crunchy and salty.

Why are the soy crisps not good for us? I've never had them, but was just wondering.
