No, I didn't hear about that, I don't think he would look out the windows long enough to notice.  He is probably busy working while he is in the car.

Apparently the Michigan State police and the city of Ann Arbor thought that he might not be to busy to look out his limo window.

that is why the police forced the homeless people to relocate to a different section of the town where they could not be seen by the president.

go figure!

Good morning everyone,

Busy day here at work but just wanted to check in real quick.

QOTD:  Whenever I think of my dad or mom passing away I get teary eyed.  They are in their early 70's and I just can't imagine one without the other!  Tears me up every time I think about it.  Ok, gotta go fix my mascara (Thanks Brenda!!)

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning!

Finishing up my protein coffee, moving on to the regular stuff.

QOTD:  I read the article in the paper about Ernie Harwell and I teared up - I too have such fond memories of listening to him when I was a child.  My dad was a huge Tigers fan and we'd listen in the car.  One memory - from a LONG time ago, was he and I sitting in the car at a drive-in type of restaurant - warm sunny day and listening to Ernie on the radio.  Don't know quite why that memory has stuck with me, but dad and I didn't have a lot of alone time, perhaps that's why it was so special.  He let me sit in the front seat of the car, and that was the place for big kids!  I had to be 5-6 years old at the time...

I tear up when I hear stories about abused children.  I just can't understand how people would do that to a child.

Good Morning!

Brenda they replayed Ernie Harwell's last broadcast on the way into work this morning and I had to fix my mascara .  . . I am such a sports fan and when I was a teenager he was "Mr. Baseball" to me.

QOTD - I have to agree with you Nan. . I am a big daddy's girl and the thought of either one of my parents leaving gets me going . . they are both 76 and don't do anything without the other.  I have never heard them have a fight in all my 53 (almost) years.  OK . .  I have to think about kittens or puppies . . or new babies. . .   find a happy place . . find a happy place . . lol

Enjoy the day!

Good morning all!

I am back at work after a long 5-day weekend. Oh how wonderful it was to be off work and just do whatever I wanted!  But now I'm digging my way through a pile of email and such today...

QOTD -- I'm not one to cry usually.  Of course I'm chickly and I tear up over sappy movies or books - but that's normal, right?  Otherwise the only time I cry is when I'm so frustrated and angry that I have no control over a situation (like on Monday at the doctor's office).

Have a good day all!
Pam

Well it is afternoon here instead of morning. I am a late bloomer today.

I have an allergy appt today too. I have yet another sinus infection. It is my 2nd one in less than a month. I wish they would figure something out already. I am so tired of this... I am getting the allergy shots but nothing seems to be able to kick these chronic sinus infections.

QOTD: Anytime I think of my Dad and how he passed away it gets to me. I get sad and heartbroke. I miss him everyday and wish he was here to enjoy the foster kids we have brought into our home and how much he would be proud that we are adopting this year. If it is a boy we are planning on having his middle name after him.

Western's middle name is my dad's middle name.  He passed away in 1996, at 55.  He would've been beside himself with 4 grandsons (my brother has 3 boys).  Coincidentally, my FIL's middle name is the same as my dad's.  So, two birds with one stone!
