Wonderful Wednesday

Good Morning everyone!
I know by the time I finish this, someone else will have posted the coffee thread.  It always works like that!

I am on my way to yet another Dr. appointment.  This time, it is the allergist!  It seems in typical Brenda fashion, I have symptoms no one has ever heard of.  I'm a medical mystery and just too much for U of M to handle!

I'm quickly slamming a yogurt before I head out the door.

QOTD-I have been teary-eyed since hearing of Ernie Harwell's passing yesterday.  Not because I knew him or anything, but just so many memories of summer and baseball and childhood.  Anyway, what makes you tear up?  I am not usually a crier, but I was thinking about Ernie and how much he loved his wife....ugh....I'm starting to get misty eyed again!  Dave's great-uncle just passed as well, and every time I think of his Aunt Ann living in the house alone....it kills me!  So what is your kryptonite?  Tell us what gets you every time.

On that somber note....have a great day!!

Morning Brenda!

I hope the allergist  can help you out.  My daughter did better with the pain meds yesterday, although her face did swell up a little more (she had her wisdom teeth out Monday).

I don't go into wor****il noon today and then I have yoga later tonight.

QOTD- my kryptonite is those commercials for abused and abandoned animals, each and every time  I am a blubbering pool of goo.

Cher,

When those commercials come on, I immediately change the channels!

Good morning, Brenda!

I'm just sitting here, watching Dub, thinking about getting up to make some coffee.

On a positive twist, at least if you're going to the doctor's office, you aren't at work?  Does that help any?  No?

QOTD:  Lately, my kryptonite is just about anything to do with my mom.  Dementia makes it difficult for her to understand why she has to be in MI.  Her hubby pretty much refuses to move up here from TN.  She's always been a very sweet, caring person.  She doesn't deserve a life like this.  It's very frustrating.

Ok...time for that coffee....Have a great day!

PS - I never really was a huge baseball fan.  I didn'****ch games or anything, but I do remember, as a kid, listening to Ernie call games on the radio.  My sister and I would sit and listen.  She was the fanatic!

Good Morning All,

Yesterday was a very hard day for me.  It was the 3 years anniversary of my dh passing.  My youngest daughter was nice and took me out to lunch and then shopping at Goodwill. We had a nice time, I really just wanted to me in a dark room by myself.  My dh was such a great man, I flat out just miss him.  I hope today will be better.

QOTD:  Everytime I hear about a military person dying in the line of duty I tear up.I have ever since I was a teenager.

I just wanted to send you a HUG! I hope you have a better day today.  Your DH sounds like he was a wonderful man.

Hello everyone. Well did you all see the news that the President is coming for the commencement at Kalamazoo Central Highschool ! What an honor it is for this town, (keeping my political opions out of this) they have worked so hard at building the schools up. The Kalamazoo Promise has charged up the whole area over the last 5 years. It has not only helped the students by getting the parents more involved but it has helped the businesses also, it has brought in more people to the area.

QOTD: Anybody's family passing just tears me up ! It always reminds me of all that I have lost, husband, sister, father, 2 nephews, Mother-in-law, Father-in-law. I know they are on to better things but those of us left behind have to deal with it the best we can.

QOTD;
Did You hear that last week when the Pres was going to speak in Ann Arbor that there was a section on I-94 that had a tent city for homeless that the state police were sent to disband the poor homeless people, because you could see it form I-94 and the didn't want the Pres to see that.

"THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HE NEED TO SEE AND ADDRESS!"

I hope Kalamazoo will be kinder to the homeless and not just shuffle them off to a new area of town but actually help them. or better yet let the Pres see what this country is coming too.
