Good morning!

I'm off work today. So I slept late (well, as late as the stupid cat allowed, anyway). Got up and made some low-carb french toast. Will be meeting my Mom for lunch (her birthday lunch) in an hour then heading to Flint for a doctor appointment followed by the support group meeting at Hurley this evening.  Bringing along my netbook and the textbooks to kill time between stuff today. 

QOTD -- After this weekend's race and how sore I was afterward, I realize how poorly I've done with workouts lately. So I'm kicking my butt back on track with exercise.  My walking shoes are being packed today and I'll hit the trails this evening after the meeting.  

I'm off work again tomorrow and NOTHING is planned, so I'm taking advantage of the downtime. Got a bunch of homework to deal with and have no plans to leave the house (unless I hit the RiverWalk for a workout). It's sunny today - hope it stays that way.  :-)

I had 2 protein coffees, moved on to regular coffee - I think I drink too much coffee...

QOTD:  I have started yoga and zumba classes.  I'm looking at adding another zumba class during the week.  I have really slacked off on exercise for quite a long time and HAVE to get back into it.  Water is always an issue too. 

I've found I've been doing more snacking than I should and they're not good snacks.  I'm trying to get that under control....

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

Hello all:  It's been awhile since I've posted, been busy.
VSG surgery is tomorrow afternoon, and I'm doing well, but getting a little nervous.  I think I have everything in order.  Still concerned about my insurance, as they don't do pre-approvals, and won't give me or the doctor any kinds of indicaaton.  However, I have confidence in the doctor's office, in that they assured me that they have dealt with the "Blues" "alot" and told me how the game is played.  Geesh, wouldn't think it is a game! ...lol

Anyway, planning on a busy week, hope to be home by Thursday.

I started my day with a banana and some coffee.  Lunch is some chili.


q:  I have been going to the dog park everyday with Leo and walking the perimeter.  Then when we come home we walk for another half hour to forty minutes just to get some extra energy expelled.  I like the sun being out.  makes me want to be outside more!

Hi everyone,

Just finished a bowl of chili for lunch and will be going to work out soon.  Seems like I just ginished up with quarter close and it's already month end here at work - ugh! It's never ending!

QOTD:  I have a busy week with month end and trying to get my house in order. I I'll be heading to Chelsea on Fridy and then spend most of next week down there too.  I will be taking my dauther to Hurley next Monday for her surgery so I won't come home Sunday from Steve's like I normally do, I'll just stay in Chelsea and go pick her up bright & early Monday morning for her surgery!  She wants to go to her apartment when she gets out of the hospital which will be Wed so I figure I'll stay in Chelsea so I'm only about 20 minutes from her if she needs anythihg rahter than me be 2 hours away in Midland.  That means I'll have to work from 'home' a lot of next week whether it be from the hospital or from Steve's house.  I just want this week to be overwith and her surgery behind her.

I still struggle daily with getting all my fluids in. I'm drinking way too much coffee (regular) so that doesn't count.  sometimes that's all the liquids I drink in the day is coffee!  I need to work on that!
