OT.....I want to learn how to knit!

That is a cool site Brenda.

but for me canton would be good.

when you talk to the teacher  let us know what she says and when the classes are.
I think it would be fun to have a group of us get together and do a class.

I available any time I am retired.

Downtown Auburn Hills is a kitting store. They offer lessons. I go there to pick up yarn for my disabled sister. There are several other kitting shops in the area. Look them up in the phone book. Some offer free classes, they know that you won't buy supplies if you can't knit.

I would be glad to teach you all to Crochet but I am in Fremont. North of Grand Rapids. There are some tutorial videos on youtube. I taught myself to read a pattern and have made gorgeous dresses for my daughters. I also make afghans and baby sweaters. I look forward to making something for myself now that I don't have to use 50 pounds of yarn to do so. Yes, this is exaggeration but you get the picture.
