I'm the first one again??  Ok, I can do this.  I'm off to work, drinking my frozen protein hot chocolate.  Mmmmm.

Today is National Jelly Bean Day.  It's also Earth Day and Bring your Son or Daughter to Work Day.  Unfortunately, I am not doing anything to celebrate any of those!  LOL

Today is looking much brighter than yesterday.  I hope it is for all of you, as well.

QOTD-Let's hear about people you LIKE!  Who is there for you or makes you really happy??
For me, it's my DH, kids, and my sister.  They are just really cool.  I would also like to make a long distance dedication to the friends I have made here.  It seems that no matter how little we know about each other, or that we have only met in person a few times, I can tell them anything.  I like having friends like that around. (Even if they are smart asses, like Edie!  hahaa)

Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning!  I checked for a post earlier and didn't see one.  I was not feeling inspired to start one, either.   things.  Just sitting here, drinking my coffee, watching my little busy body get into things.  The other day, I was putting dinner in the crock pot.  Dub was in the kitchen with me and got into my cabinet where I keep canned goods.  He dropped a can of green beans on his big toe!  The nail is all black and blue!  OUCH!

AJ forgot to take Dub to work, today.  I should call and remind him.  (Yeah, like I would let that happen!)

QOTD:  People I like?  Well, that's a short list.  Just kidding!  My hubby and Dub make me happiest!  My family and my inlaws are pretty great people in my life, too.  AND like Brenda....my friends on here are pretty cool, too!  Some weeks, we don't get out of the house for a few days and "the people in my computer" are my outreach! So, thanks, guys!

PS-I just wanted to give a "shout out" to Edie and Suzanne.  I had lunch with them and NOT ONCE did the do that weird up and down look that a lot of post-ops do. (To see how fat I am or if they are skinnier then me).  They didn't care what anyone had for lunch and we talked for like 4 hours and only briefly mentioned surgery.  I heart them for that!!

What am I?  Chopped liver?  LOL!  I'm just kidding.  I know you "heart" me, too.  Or at least, Dub.

Tina,
Everyone knows that I am madly in love with you (and Dub).  I will say something nice about you when you go to lunch with me again.  Ha!  How's that for motivation?

Brenda Thanks for the kind words... I am the last person to judge anyone... I think the best part of surgery is not being able to judge people about their weight.. We are all in this together.. Well most of us.. Some of us are here or there to judge others and the choices they make... That is NOT who I am..

I am glad we had lunch and enjoyed one another's company. It is all worth it.

Good Morning!

Thanks everyone for the supportive comments yesterday . .  having friends like all of you and praying lots has really helped.

Well Brenda, I would love to eat the jelly beans, plant a tree and be nice to a kid here at work today but it seems like so much work . . . lol

QOTD-  My sisters . . which are my two siblings and all the beautiful women in my life . . but the one who brings me joy, unconditional love and can bring me out of the worse funk is my five year old grand-daughter Hanna Jade . . . she is polite, loving and very funny . . and she thinks I rule the world . .

Happy Holiday!  It's been about 5 years since I left the world of environmentalists and took my current job.  But whenever Earth Day or America Recycles Day (Nov 15th) rolls around, I still get emails from my old tree-hugger friends withing me a happy holiday.  I've been invited to the Michigan Recycling Coalition conference next month (as their official photographer) -- so it'll be nice to reconnect with some old friends.

Keep your fingers crossed that today is a calm day here at the office. I'm tired of the chaos and projects and putting out of fires --- just want to catch up on all this stuff that needs my attention.

QTOD -- Too many to name. My best friend, M, always knows how to lift my spirits. Been chatting with Nikki lately, that's fun.  My girls from the support group always make me happy -- Kristy and Allie especially.  It's just nice to be surrounded by people who care about me and I care about them right back.

Have a great day all!
Pam
